Where do I find the best core deck? All I need is the vocab in the front with the translation in the back and an example sentence with audio and in a good learning order that introduces easier words first. This is all I ask for but all the decks are completely fucked.

The difference is not big as this is a very simple (pun not intended) word but it's really significant when the words become more abstract.

i think the bury feature on anki is for when you get the card correct but just kind of want to brush up on it a little so you put it on tomorrows list again, a daily interval timing can help things stick better sometimes, because it's not always about just knowing its about knowing it well and quickly

fuuko's arc was great. kotomi's arc was kinda weird, but it made sense in the end. the twins' arc was kind of boring. tomoyo's arc was pretty boring too. then it climbed back up with nagisa's arc, which was great too.

so I spent all this time and effort to learn japanese and for what? Pretty much all anime gets english subs and watching without subs just gives you the time to really notice how poor the quality of animation and art is I might prefer watching with subs. A lot of manga gets translations and I guess you can read what isnt translated but its such a pain in the ass compared to english translated consumption. There is no online readers for raws and the work to download each individual chapter for each series is a pain in the ass. Vns just arent that interesting anymore. Moege are trash and thats what is mostly released. I cant bring myself to care about whatever generic girls are in whatever vn I choose to read. Same mediocre story. Same mediocre characters. Lns are just trash there is very very little that is worth reading. I find myself rereading a lot of shit that I had already read in english. What was the point? I should have learned french or german for the literary traditions. At least japanese has a good body of literature.

Why didn't the "demon slayers" just cast themselves out of the dullest shounens in the history of anime? Seriously each episode following the boy slayer and his pals from Demon Slayer Corp as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the colorful art-style, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of high-quality animation, all to make demons undemonic, to make action seem inert.

Perhaps the die was cast when ufotable vetoed the idea of Zenitsu being anything but a minor supporting character in the series; they made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody?just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for the manga. The Kimetsu no Yaiba series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.

it's artificially low because i'm going through a core deck and rescheduling words i think will be easier to remember. by default the interval for those rescheduled cards is 3 days but i purposefully fail them so that the interval goes down to 1 day, and failing them decreases my retention obviously. idk how to reschedule cards in a deck while retaining the 1,5,10 minute pass steps. if someone knows pls explain.
