I am making Japanese Lessons.
I have a question,

If I quickly say -
Japanese nouns are morphologically invariable; which means they do not change based on gender or grammar number, similar to the word sheep.

So that you have a technical word
Nouns: Morphologically invariable.

Is it good or bad?
I have noticed people do not want to use standard technical language.

I've been learning for a year and I can tell there's all sorts of nuances in wording and stuff that completely escapes me. Moreover I might know the most frequent words, and those words might make up the vast majority of words that appear in anything, but there's tens of thousands of unknown words outside of that which can make or break your understanding of a sentence and a ton of them appear in just about every episode of something. In his mattvsjapan interview, Blaze bragged about understanding most anime after a year. That seems really far fetched to me now, particularly when he said he only watched anime for 3 hours a day and barely ever used anki. but he does far more passive listening than me so maybe that is enough to give someone's comprehension a huge boost over a long enough period of time?

I've read around 4 vns so far and i tried to jump off from furigana dick. But every time i turn off furigana i feel extremely uncomfortable and turn it on back again after like 20 lines. With furigana i barely can memorize kanji while reading and i feel like i'm a fucking retard.

ok so I tried the free trial of wanikani and I'm kinda confused about their approach. It starts out with the kanji "一" and they say the meaning is "ground" and give you some questionable mnemonics to go with it.

What I don't understand is why should I learn an english meaning to this radical that doesn't even make much sense? To me "一" clearly means one, so why learn something even more in english? The radical doesn't seem to mean ground in Japanese at all. Jisho gives me more "地", "地面" or "大地" for ground. Is the radical approach completely artifical and made up by english people? Do the japanese even learn them and if so what would the call "一" in its radical form? I would much rather learn the Japanese word for it.
Probably RTK or wanikani is not for me then?

It's so you can focus on remembering the Kanji. Words and the other parts of the language is a separate thing. If you don't need/want it you don't have to use it. I'd recommend not doing the full course at all but since you already know about the principle then if you ever get a difficult kanji there's one more thing you can try.

I'm long past my 10k anime with en subs, which did unsurprisingly absolutely nothing for me. I'm currently working on my 10k raw anime which helps a lot, but is still frustrating at times. There are shows I feel super comfortable watching like Kiniro Mosaic and then there are others, where I feel like I don't understand a single sentence.

However I though about maybe learning some kanji anyways and getting into reading a bit. Currently I only look at jump manga because they have furigana, but there are definitely other manga, that I might want to get into. Btw. I was talking to several foreigners that live and work in japan and most of them don't seem to give a shit about kanji at all, but speak perfectly fine japanese. just finnished ノルウェイの森. overall liked it. solid 7/10. was a bit longer, if you don't count vns it is the longest thing i have read, also a suprisingly easy read. midori best girl. any recommendations on what to read next? thinking about reading something by yoshimoto banana. i prefer something contemporary, as i am scared of older books. also i would love to talk about ノルウェイの森
