I wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't a factor but I also think that Korean culture is obsesses with vanity of the flesh. They have insane amounts of plastic surgery and mostly are willing to obsess over pretty boys and pretty girls. Vocaloid doesn't have that vanity of the flesh aspect. In fact I like Vocaloid because I hate people. I like that real people are involved as little as possible in it. Korea lacks the same Kawaii culture as Japan or the Otaku culture that seeks to reject reality. The Japanese idol industry had a closer connection to the anime industry and a lot of overlap unlike the Korean one. I think that Korean idol fans aren't as interested in anime characters and prefer 3DPD.

This isn't just about Yukari but overall since I see people say stuff like this a lot: Why is time a factor in what you listen to? Songs aren't something you lose interest in or like less the older they get, art is timeless. In Yukari's case I don't have any songs with her from this year, but I still listen to her older songs very often, time isn't a factor in music's relevancy.
Also I imagine most of us didn't rank the Vocaloids based on who we listen to the most, but based on whose voice and design we like more, and those don't have to match. Hearts are favorites/bookmarks, they get added to your bookmarks so you can easily find them. Likes are just regular likes. Before you needed to do two clicks to set favorites as opposed to likes' one click so they held more weight, now they made it so you can set favorites by one-clicking thumbnails making them the new likes, and likes are now pretty much useless. You can compare old and new pics, old ones have more hearts and less likes and new pics are the other way around.

Baroque release under the Vcalo-Classica name, is there anything at all like this that anyone else has done with vocaloids?
