Its actually kinda cute how qm shills his anime cards and keeps defending everything, he's like how matt was 2 years ago when he was trying to shill his method to everyone around him and looked down on everyone, while showing himself off to everyone he could draw 薔薇 and 酸漿 and write test answers in 旧字体. His method was truly the best, other people where like ants to him. i would say there is some loose level of correspondence between native-level media and jlpt levels. back when i had finished reading ななついろドロップス, i knew almost every single word on core2k and every single grammar point up to the intermediate section of imabi, but i only knew a few words beyond that, so i'd say that vn is n3 level. n2 would probably be more like 素晴らしき日々 or fate/stay night (again, neither really corresponds to jlpt official levels, but it does kind of give you the idea that somebody who could pass the n2 test could probably read such vns without much difficulty).
