Anon, even though you forgot, as a male human being your ultimate objective is to pass on your genetic code to the next generation.
This means that it doesn't matter how much you keep on denying it with shitty morals or ideals, having a family with Sakura is the manlier choice Shirou could've made in FSN.

Saber is the planet's bitch, and even if by some weird shit she could stay in Shirou's world for a year, I highly doubt a servant body can conceive a child.

Saber seems to eat, drink and sleep like any normal person does, i imagine she will be able to have children. The real question is wether she had started having her period by the time she took Caliburn from the stone. That's not the point though, the point is the ideal doesn't work. It inherently has it's fallacies. You cant save everyone like what Shirou wanted, there will always be sacrifices. His ideal would have to become twisted and morphed like Archer and Kiritsugu in order for him to walk it. Eventually he would be in the same place as Kiritsugu and Archer, having killed so many, including loved ones, his heart would turn cold.

Shirou becomes like Veidt from The Watchmen.

If by two examples you mean the other routes, they went quite well.

In Fate, Shirou fucking seduced King Arthur's rule 63 and, because he was mature and not a whiny bitch, let her go when he knew it was the right thing to do. It turned out that the promise of power from the grail turned out to be too good to be true, and he let go anyway, despite honeyed lies and promises that he could have what he wanted. Then he moved on with his life. Tohsaka would see to that. Fate can lead to an Archer End, but it doesn't necessarily have to.

In Unlimited Blade Works, Shirou's got a pretty fucking bright future. He's got Rin and she's got him. They've got their careers and lives together ahead of them. With her around, I doubt UBW Shirou would have become Archer.

The central theme of Watchmen the conflict between the utilitarian ethics of Veidt and the Kantian ethics of Rorschach. It is very careful to avoid picking sides.

Shirou's attitude is much closer to Rorschach than Veidt. In Mind of Steel he kills Sakura not because he's calculated that it results in the greatest good for the greatest number, but because Sakura is actively killing innocents right now and there is no other reliable way to stop her. The big weakness of utilitarianism is uncertainty, and Shirou doesn't have Veidt's godly super-genius to circumvent this. Utilitarianism is only a side effect of Shirou's ideal when it occurs at all.

You obviously don't have any idea what you're talking about.

Let me be more clear,

in fate and UBW the reason that the route parts from each other is clear, that is, Archer is not injured by Saber, due to Shirou's use of Command spell choice, so he can go on his own agenda, which is to kill Shirou.

However, in HF, the specific choice that leads to this route, does not exist, you can choose the same choice in fate and nothing happens. It suddenly forces on us the least loved character as a main heroine.Which everyone find despicable, it is also the longest and most boring route, constantly filled with Bad ends, inflicted mostly by the said 'heroine', just for the pure reason of 'you don't love her enough, you're deadLOL'

The only redeeming value in it is that we learn the true nature of Kotomine. Without him this route would've easily become a shitfest.

In, HF. the simple what if is 'What if Shirou took notice of Sakura sooner and her problems' (which exist in every route). Thus, gets closer to her, Shinji messes up faster and snowball of effects.

Also, the other 2 routes have plenty of bad ends, point is stupid and not accurate. And saying 'Least loved character' is just stupid opinion, and not the basis for writing a route either way.

And finally, the point was never on the heroines.
No matter what it seems like, the focus is always Shirou and his growth, and how people he cares about (heroines) affect that. Sakura who was a victim first and then lashed out forced a different growth then tragic hero Saber and Partner-in-asskicking Rin.

For Rin - Exploit her tsundere behaviours, backstab her and steal her command spell - easy modo win.

For Ilya - just kill her when she comes to play with you in shopping district. Another easy win.

Assassin&Zouken - most troublesome since Assassin can not be detected by Shirou's own skill. I guess it's time to put that command spell you stole earlier to use XD

Kotomine - no Ilya,no Sakura, no grail, no reason to fight.

That doesn't change the fact that she is a motherfucking servant, she can come in the Church ten minutes after what we've seen in the game and mop the floor with Shirou, Rin and even Kotomine. Or just take off Breaker Gorgon and go on the Borin' Mode.

Well, the only moment she went easy on Shirou was in the beginning, when she didn't want to kill him(and didn't in the bad end). She went easy on him, since she didn't take the wrench guy fighting gands with a strenghtening magic seriously. She would act totally different if shw knew what he really is capable of and that he is serious. Most of all, she was the one who decided to kill Sakura. She WANTED to kill her when she was still mentally able to. That's what being magus means, and Nasu wrote quite a few pages about that in the Prologue.

And found out, that he was like that for all his life, he was just born thinking the wrong way. And after understanding that he can't get an answer why did that happen by normal means, he thought that the best way to see if it was dependable was to observe the birth of someone who, as he was, was supossed to be evil by concept.
