Sadone and Kurumi are at the top of my list so far, but that's mostly just because I like duals and snipers.
But I can't really compare her to older snipers, since my other account had an ongoing shortage in that area.

And that's also not factoring in lv80 skills yet, since I don't have most of them unlocked.

She spent all of her time being broken in BGHS. I don't have her kit finished so I can't compare her to the blue gamer loli, Mutsumi. But usually the thing that makes players want to take them to bosses is melee capability and how fast they reach their special skill.

All in all, I don't think any of the content is so difficult that you wouldn't want to take your favorites anyway.

I've been playing Dragalia and it really doesn't feel like Shironeko even though people say they're clones or ripoff. They have similar gameplay at a glance and all but Shironeko is infinitely better and less frustrating because of how their core gameplay goes.

In Shironeko, you control a single character with three more in your team to swap out whenever you please and it's pretty easy to max them out with all the stuff they need.

Meanwhile in Dragalia, you're controlling 1 character and your three other characters are AI controlled. Then to fully equip them out you need to go through a granblue style grind for their weapons and gacha for their max limit break dragons for your team of four.

Shironeko can also be played almost completely single player with some coop here and there while Dragalia is a heavy co-op game and a lot of the shit you need to grind is co-op only stages that you need to repeat until the end of times.

Even the gameplay is a lot more fun too with how shironeko seems to have simpler gameplay and easier to get into even if you're not so good at the game while Dragalia puts more stock into big boss fights, enemy patterns, iframing things, dodging and hoping your AI friends dont die horrible deaths which gets old super fast when you need to repeat said fight a lot of times.

It's so hard to find fun games in English that aren't terribly frustrating to play or that make you feel that you will never ever catch up to the people in the endgame because of all the grinding and rolling you have to do.

It sucks that Blanche has to get all the cutest outfits, playing her can be a pain due to how hard it is to get a consistently well performing deck against most heroes. Worth the struggle, though.

There's plenty of games, new and old, that people are playing. Maybe not discussing, especially overseas, but the games are there. The big names you mention are because they've been around the block more than once, have years of QOL and updates behind them and (more often than not) have either a large global presence and/or a large franchise behind them (Fate, Fire Emblem etc.) so you'll often find more people willing to discuss them. If you look beneath the surface you'll see other games emerging too, it's just a matter of looking. Arknights for example exploded, even being CN only, and is released this year with the rest of the world coming in Winter. Charge your skills at the beginning before going into the fight.
Turn on Auto but manually control it so you can just momentarily let go to instantly cast skills. Seems pretty minor, but it helps you start firing again as soon as the skill animations end and is particularly helpful if your have multiple skills with the same CD.
The first shield break is the most important part of maximizing your time and is where you want to place most of your focus. Afterwards, it's just a matter of really just face-tanking him for maximizing damage uptimes and trying not to get stunned by the giant add that rushes you near the end.

The new player gacha does have a built-in reroll function which is a nice QoL touch.

It's not that it's impossible to get an apk from the store, it's that the apk is a box full of stuff.
Your phone unpacks that box to put everything where it needs to go, so you can't then just tell the phone "Okay, now give me back the apk."

The download sites pretend to be a phone and request the apk as normal. But then instead of unpacking everything to install it, they keep the box closed up for you to download.

Drop rate is supposed to be something like 20% chance but there's likely other factors that bring it down a lot. By a ton if my experience is anything to go by.

I tend to skip/pay for clears on normal nodes with 2 or more stages just to speed up things.

It won't, each character in the team has her own chance to roll a rainbow shell after a node, normal AGA characters can roll a generic rainbow shell or their specific motif shell, while collab characters can only roll their specific motif shell, since their motif gears aren't included in the generic rainbow shells drop pool. So you just gimp yourself for no reason by running only 2 characters instead of a full team.

Azur Lane and Girls Frontline. Both are very casual games that can happily let you play for an hour a day if you wish, both with generally plenty to do (especially starting out and/or during events). Both are girls only and both have quite the selection of delicious waifus with plenty of porn of them at your disposal too if that tickles your fancy.

Alternatively Another Eden is a good suggestion simply because it's basically a single player JRPG disguised as a "gacha phone game". It's excellent for wasting away an hour or two of your time with lots of stuff to do (Many many hours of story, side quests, side stories, character stories, ensuring your red and green keys are being spent each day for ADs, grinding up weapons for your waifu(s) etc.). And that's not even mentioning the weeks of optional fishing to do too. Gacha currency gains are trash in it though and rerolling is a pain so getting off the ground with a Mariel account (which is recommended) may be bothersome, just as a fair warning.

Witch Weapon might fit what you two want. EN' has only been up for a couple weeks now, and in general the game isn't all that time consuming. Barrier Maze takes around an hour to do each day, and outside of that and EME (Which takes a handful of minutes) you can skip through the rest of your dailies.
If I remember right it'll require a bit more time commitment once an event rolls around, but even then I'm pretty sure it doesn't add more than an hour or two a day if you don't plan to go hard on rankings.

Biggest problem with the game is that the cute girl collecting is really a side thing since you only ever actually see the MC in gameplay for the most part. MC's a cute girl too though so it's fine in my books.

Priconne is only one of a few games with a skip system, but it's the most popular modern one that I know among those that do. Some games have a skip system without tickets-stamina being the only bottleneck. Arknights having the autoplay feature is great, but the objective of not doing repetitive tasks is the same. You could argue that the only reason they chose not to put in such a skip system is that they didn't want to waste their preexisting macro system.. or poster above.
Either way: I spent 15-20 minutes today waiting on the game to play itself by doing other things while it ran on the side. Could there have been an easier way around it? Sure. It just wasn't an available feature.

It's as grindy as how much you want to put into it. You can refresh your stamina with both items and ingame currency. Events push you to farm stages multiple times for drops like furniture and tokens for event gacha boxes filled with things that will help you progress, like most games.

It's nowhere near that level. I would say you get two each week for completing a weeklies. After that, they're limited to event rewards, campaigns, and bug/maintenance compensation. They also have an expiry date on them too, so you can't save them for a long period of time.
