Illya was the only female character in fate were it made compete sense to have a route the only reason she didn't is because she is a loli other than her MAYBE rider. caster would have really made no sense since she already is in love with her master unless you find her before he does one day but that wouldn't work because she would disappear before shirou could give her any mana. only reason she lived is because she was brought to the temple

Probably doesn't really say much. A servant exists with the pretense that the Master can support with enough Mana. Caster sucked an assload of mana to retain her territory bonus/advantage on the Temple.

Wat? Go play UBW one more time. Caster's master was not a Magus so he could not supply any mana,unless of course, he had sex with the servant. Shirou wouldnt allow that whole soul sucking thing though,so she'd just simply conceal what she was doing. Plus not only that it was Caster that pretty much came up with the whole idea of using the temple as a focal point.

You're arguing your own scenario where Shirou meets Caster instead of Kuzuki rather than the whole thing that if Shirou was to meet any Servant, it'd probably during Lancer's attack. It could be some other Servant who met with Kuzuki instead etc.

Also during your scenario Nasu can just wave magic wands and make Shirou some sort of living nexus of mana, though in my opinion it's just because Kuzuki could not provide mana then and there to create a Contract on the spot.
