Already done with the rerolling (got Maki UR), not really a favorite for the moment, the gameplay is kind of interesting but is as simple as it gets, you can't play the Lives until you clear the first episode, I haven't seen a way to adjust the speed of the tiles yet.

How integrated is the BHGS collab in AGA? Are they going to be like regular collab event in some other games where they will no longer be relevant after their introduction or will they be integrated into the main plot?

Well, that rod attack was her special, so she could have something else for her actual melee slot. But more likely it'll be that rod but count as one of the existing weapon types.

My original guess was sword+shield, because 4 collab girls meant they could give each a different element/gun/melee and the other girls had the rest covered. But that was before I remembered there's a fifth type for the melee slot, that handgun thing. Never really got a chance to mess with those.

Not being a skirt might also cause problems, I'd imagine. Less so in Irene's case since those outfits seem close enough, but I'm not sure how you would even try to flip Yuki's battlesuit shorts.

Dragalia flopping so hard is the best thing that could have happened for the western players. There is no way they'd be as generous as they were if it didn't, they'd still have the same wyrmprint/dragon/character gacha they did at release if they could get away with it. It helps because it draws more attention to it than it'd get otherwise. Cygames already has a large following of dedicated players and is a huge name in the industry. With Nintendo as another big name attached to it, it ended up getting a lot of media coverage both overseas and domestically in Japan before the release and it legitimately had a lot of hype surrounding it. You can see hype on the website I linked when Dragalia made 3/4th of what it did this entire year just in October 2018 when the game was brand new.

Okabe is the new hero being added - he is a gunner with decent attack speed and damage, but can buff himself to further burst down anyone with a low defence value. His card activation speeds look pretty good overall, too.
His hero action buffs his normal attacks for a short period/set amount of attacks, and causes them to deal 4 consecutive bursts of damage that seem to do just shy of 30% of the initial damage.
His hero ability gradually increases his defence once the clock dips below 120 seconds, though not sure to what extent.
His hero skill targets enemy portal keys and cuts the maximum expansion zone to half of what it currently is - the zone cannot be expanded whilst the effect is active, and it only dispels once captured or Okabe places it on another key.

There are six new cards, from left to right:
>Close ranged poison
>Long ranged damage
>Team-wide buff (not sure what the buff is)
>Team-wide instant heal
>Buff+siphon, looks to be a new effect
>Close ranged armour piercing

And then 5 costumes for:
Noho - Moeka
Blanche - Faris
Tesla - Rukako
Lyrica - Mayushi
Jeanne - Kurisu
Okabe himself has a recolour, a 13 costume, a Gustav costume and a gelnana costume.

The collab will start on the 30th after maintenance - Noho's season rewards and some card balancing will also be released once it's done.

It's fun. The gameplay is actually fun, where the current batch of bosses are all unique enough. The girls are cute enough I guess. The main issue are the bugs. There are a shit ton. Sound dying, freezing, enemies not spawning, just tons of bugs fucking everywhere. It has a potential to be really good but they need to clean up the bugs hard.

Gameplay kinda reminds me of Honkers2 with a new camera angle and more bullet hell. Seems pretty fun so far.

Haven't run into too many bugs yet. Though I did have one run where two of my girls died and the third somehow couldn't shoot anymore. Tried to finish off the fight with her skill, but that wasn't fast enough.

The issue is that at that point it just becomes a clicker and management game. I like the designs a lot and the production values are insane, but I don't feel attached to the girls because the plot really falls flat.

Cute girls are great, but some other games offer me cute girls with better comedy or with edgeshit, something to keep me entertained. The problem I have with almost all cygames stuff is that there is no tension because you know the characters are going to live and won't drastically change.

I think FGO's writing is really lacking for most of their content, I dropped the game but I still miss some of the servants because they were fun.

The writing is definitely kind of "plain". The main story has been dragging for a while and the real twist is taking them a long ass time to get to. And the girls' character stories, while they nail cute interactions, are pretty light in terms of developing their characters in most cases. The new girls were a breath of fresh air in this regard because they pull no punches with the MC or each other, which allowed for a lot more comedic moments. Their guild story is just 3 episodes of banter with the occasional putting down the MC, and it's great. It's a shame that comedic energy will probably not seep into other stories going forward.
