Now, that doesn't mean we will have a release date nor that it will be anything certain. It will be just that, an update.

I didn't interpret like that at all. In that route, I thought she was completely honest about not being about to control her vampiric urges since she got extra fucked up by Shiki and Roa and had very little power. She waited and used the last bit of power she had gained after Roa was defeated for the final conversation with Shiki and then went back to sleep so she wouldn't go on a blood sucking rampage.

Yea this is heavily implied. I don't know what everyone else is talking about here, its the perfect bittersweet ending for her route and completely in character, since she has made it clear she doesn't want to suck anyone's blood and the entire point of her going after Roa is to fix her mistake. In the end, Arcueid can't be with Shiki because her vampiric urges will go out of control and she might do something to him or someone else, and so she probably won't ever see him again because by the time her rest is done Shiki will be long gone (unless I'm misjudging here and her powers can be restored in only a couple of years)

That's more Aimer effect than the animation itself though.
To me the recollection of memories, the description of Ryougi and Void misunderstanding of Araya by Touko + the increasing notes from the Kajiura choir building in the catharsis is much much more fulfilling, and not because of the artistic elements used, but because that is one the expressions of the Deep Consciousness that Nasuverse is about.
The re-reading of the Doctrine of Amalavijñāna is one of the most beatiful things Nasu ever did in text and anime form imo.

I feel like "Fate/Extra CCC" should have been the last Fate to conclude the storyline, and so it didn't need a sequel after it.

"Fate/Zero" was very necessary, since it explained how the events in "Stay Night" happened. Everything was concluded in Heaven's Feel and Hollow Ataraxia, so there was no point in continuing the series after it.

I feel like Nasu is milking Fate really bad, since they making a new FGO series along a lot of stand alone Fate stories.

A quote from Nasu on TM ace issue 8:

"Nasu:
At first I'd aimed for CCC to be something that can be enjoyed on its own, even more so with Extra. And that Extra can be enjoyed even more with CCC, like Fate/hollow ataraxia to Fate/stay night.
But as I wrote the scenario, I became aware of a desire to state the "answer" of the Fate series, which has been continuing for almost ten years now.
After ten years, I finally realized that "this is what I wanted to say with the Fate series." If I'm able to complete this, then there'll no longer be anything left for me to say."
It was meant to be like you say. But then a certain little opportunist put a smartphone with lots of mobage on the table of Nasu, making him more acceptable to the idea of continuing it. This damned person is called Takeuchi.
But it was for FGO to stop on part 1 and I would dare say it was for Nasu to quit FGO on chapter 5 of game and left it as just another mobile game without any proper attention. But he was eventually made to be sensible with fans urge for more (also called $$$ fountain).

I think the story itself, new characters and events would interesting, but I don't think it should be called Tsukihime 2, but rather another thing. It could include Arcueid because of her relevancy, but I don't think Shiki and the far side should be involved. You could argue Ciel, but then again, she shouldn't be the only one.

That's the old reboot-and-switch dance Nasu really likes. Not that it is bad, but Nasu is the essential idea guy, and an idea guy left unchecked needs reboot from times to times in order to develop their ideas again.

Thus we got Tsukihime, Fate, Extra, CCC, and FGO. All of them are metaphysically incompatible reboots. But with good ideas, sure.

Also, Nasu stopped caring six years ago. When you have the idea guy giving no fucks for half an entire decade, with entire control over the franchise, you get bizarre stories.

I made a spreadsheet to compare the results and HGW placements of various Masters and Servant classes. The "winner" is the #1, and the others take places after that depending on the time they die or get eliminated by losing their Servant. I also included the master aptitude stat that shows the magic circuits (or hacking for EXTRA) potential. Some Masters can arguably be a tier below or above than what I estimated and there're some minor characters whose abilities are hard to estimate but I think most placements should be correct.
From what I know about CCC I don't think it has a properly structured HGW to include here and I didn't read its translations. If it does, tell me so I can include it. Also any other thoughts on how to improve the spreadsheet would be great.

Just watched last week's episode.
Pretty good, I definitely didn't see the twist coming or predict Heartless would be hidden there, though I would've liked more clues for the viewer rather than the one piece of evidence Waver points out (which no one could've figured out):
Heartless seems like a cool villain and I look forward to what he does in later books. I like how his plan had a clear goal but I don't really get the specifics. Like why was the Child of Einnashe necessary to create this fake Grail War setup? And how did stealing Mystic Eyes 7 years ago let him control information about the Grail War??? Maybe it's better explained in the novel.

Overall it was a good show though I still feel like the standalone episodes were more fun than the Rail Zeppelin case, they just fit the episodic format better. Sad that from next week on this kind of story that actually has interesting ideas and lore will be replaced with the trash that is Babylonia.

FGO part 1 is the story about how the Ages of Gods ended. Period. Babylonia and Solomon chapters tell you how. This was a mystery that Nasu kept until he wrote it. There was speculation about stages beforehand (including what happened in Extella) but the real ending and story is finally revealed. Nasu himself said, a story of the end of the Ages of Gods is about bringing up the Beasts and Solomon. He finally told the story. You can complain he shouldn't have wasted it on a mobage, and maybe hope for a future remake in another format like a LN, but being in denial is ridiculous.

>whatever happened in Babylonia at the time the anime happens in Fate worlds,
KnK got burned out by the same thing. You're being obtuse. And Mahoyo and Tsukihime were going to be attacked as well, unlike Lostbelt which isn't an occurrence that happens there - Lev spared their complete destruction of their past and future.

Sefar easily wrecks the Mooncell, and Mooncell is unable to intervene in the time locked period unlike Goetia who can, plus is lesser than Kiara who can take control of it.

Mooncell is called Type Moon by Nasu. You're just absolutely stupid and don't get it. TYPES are just the ultimate lifeforms of a celestial body. Humanity is just far more powerful now (as a species that can evolve and change independently from their planet) and their evils can easily become galactic level threats. Velber like Sefar also are star reapers, what did you expect TYPES to be a big thing next to them?

The PV voice is someone resigned because the cosmos keeps filling things out, it implies is the hollow/emptiness/void that keeps on creating things. Pay attention to the fantasy trees, there are stars and galaxies, but all this comes from nothing at all.

"The celestial bodies are hollow."
"The hollow is like the Void."
"In the Void, there is God."

Animusphere family is behind this. It has nothing to do with TYPES. "O Satan who Arts as Lucifero" says Douman Ashiya. Beast VII.

First, study about the common starting events concerning ZelretchXBrunestud and bring hard evidence that in FGO timelines he is not dead.
If you find hard evidence then:
Second, go read Notes and understand what a type is.

Fourth, compare.

>Like why was the Child of Einnashe necessary to create this fake Grail War setup?
Someone can correct me on this but I think basically because being in the forest is like being in some kind of vague spiritual world and not in an actual physical plane of existence which makes it easier to summon a servant. Plus, he was connected to the same leyline.

The reveal is so stupid, it starts making less sense the more one is familiar with Type-Moon works. Apparently faux-Caules healing Waver's burn is supposed to be impressive after we've seen mages replace entire organs, and having a magical item that does the heavy lifting for him at that? Real Caules using the lightning tree spell from f/A immediately after Waver makes his deduction is about as idiotic.
Why anyone would watch this if it didn't have the fate name attached is a better mystery than anything the show offers.

Velber have reaped the life and civilization across all galaxy, Sefar is equivalent to the strength of a Star near on the sun level in her Stage Seven. BB said Kiara would become a universal/galatic threat if she's allowed to break out too. With Nasu implying similar things for both Tiamat and Goetia.

It's one of my least favorite things Nasu has made up, it's just so unnecessarily cruel and frustrating. That isn't the case with whatever was established before humanity took over. We don't know the circumstances but it seems that there was no counter except Leff being an hero. He wrote his story in Clocktower 2015 including his relationship with Aoko and Touko. I also remember in MB Nightmare stating the possibility of humanity destroying the universe if it evolves endlessly. Humanity is very dangerous. It's just a young species that has taken control only 14k years ago and has the potential of destruction second to none. What that would be "shit"? It's how the story has been built up and is ignored by the characters in Chaldea. This was in CCC event which Guda doesn't remember. That unobservable zone is how Fuyuki Singulary gets called and what was suspected to be linked at the loss of the future since the beginning. The original problem was that the lights went out, it wasn't because it was on fire. Fuyuki didn't have the inciniration band. It wasn't Goetia's doing. Gilgamesh calls Extra a "branch parallel to this one" in his latest line update. CCC event collab is uploaded in youtube if you want to check out. It's not the same parallel world, Kiara from CCC is ported by the weakened and injured Zepar and implanted on the version of Kiara in FGO when he took over Seraphix, along with other parallels Kiaras (like the one whom Demiya killed). Yes, and they will exactly take the guys from otome games and make them fuck themselves. Just like people do with yuri doujin and TM heroines.

>It's like saying the average FGO waifuposter actually likes TM as a whole.
Actually I meant the opposite. It would be more like an average TMfag reading a FGO doujin.

>The hell does this even mean?
It lacked a word.
>All girls that interact with otaku *culture* passionately are fujo
Because one cannot just have a pure mind and be otaku at the same time. At some point you will start reading disgusting doujins and nukige and so the girl will at some point read...those things.

See, I can agree with this. Not reading yaoi doujins and whatnot takes literally no effort from me though, so I'll disagree that being a female otaku is some slippery slope into becoming a fujo.

It doesn't mean they hate it either. All my fujo friends watch the same anime I do just to see X male character and talk about their penises later between themselves.
>so I'll disagree that being a female otaku is some slippery slope into becoming a fujo.

>All my fujo friends watch the same anime I do just to see X male character and talk about their penises later between themselves
Once again though, they don't actually care about the otome. I've seen it in enough reviews/posts/whatevers. Unlike an otome fan who likes self-inserting as the girl and being doted on/abused by the boys, fujos just want the guys, and don't care about the plot and heroine. And I've seen too many fujo vs otome fans (what are they called?) "debates" to lump them in the same group. I don't wanna keep talking in a circle though, so I'm gonna drop it.

>Not that they will as a rule, but rather that if you just let yourself go, you will eventully be corrupted.

So basically if Apoc's fight scenes were super trash, though this is coming from a fan of Apoc fight scenes (not the anime itself, jesus christ don't ever put that label on me).

Wouldn't be too bad if this happened IMO, as much as people like to throw shade at other studio Fate adaptations I think TROYCA did a good job and Shaft had its moments with Prisma, except with 3rei, the animation in some of those episodes makes me want to go blind.
Oh and regardless, I think it's still somewhat on the table for ufotable this year. Emiya Gohan was airing while they were working on the movies and it came out great, even if it was a monthly ~15 minute production

This is true to some degree and I feel bad that some really great works get half assed or mediocre translations, that people without the drive/time to learn Japanese just end up reading. This also causes some awful misconceptions about the original works like with Fate/stay night and its supposedly "bad prose" that spread as a meme thanks to the amateurish TL.
It's a tough situation, in an ideal word TM would just localize all their VNs or everyone would just have an easy time learning Japanese.

There's absolutely no harm with having a fan translation even if it's a bad one. Those that want to learn Japanese can always reread the works if that's what they desire. And those that won't learn Japanese will still be able to experience it even if it means they're getting a lesser quality version.
However if you're waiting for the perfect fan translation to drop then the only thing you'll end up with is lots of people not being able to read it because it won't happen. Not everyone has either the time or dedication or both to learn weebspeak.
And I'm certain if those guys even try a bit they won't end up with a TL that changes everything in a sentence for artistic freedom

What's more likely to happen is that it's too literal or that some sentences end up nonsensical thanks to Nasu weirdness which was TakaJun's main issue too. Better than Coke, but still...
Hopefully they do some extensive proofreading and make sure every single sentence makes sense in english instead of rushing shit out the door.

Translators should still be held accountable for their fuck-ups, even if they're feeding a starving fanbase. Just like how anons from here called out Mcjon's bullshit and caused him to admit Mahoyo was abandoned, any new attempts should not be spared criticism.
