The player is a time-fickle (prais teh suhn) guidance yokai, the manga are in-universe historical retellings (Macross) from the bookstore, illustrated by one of the 2hu residents themselves (explaining different styles), listening to music outside the games are the music girls taking requests, porn-art, fapfics, and sexual dojins are induced by you, the guidance yokai, within the 2hu's dreams, but some or even most yuri happened in-universe, the best-possible playthrough of yours through each game is the historical happening, Yukari keeps your existence on the down-low, the reason the story unfolds for the first time the first time you play each individual 2hu game is because Gensokyo is infinitely subjective and there is one Gensokyo for every 2hu fan, maybe multiple for those indecisive primaries who don't want to unify their different perceptions, the guidance yokai is somewhat fickle in it's action, explaining both the inaction in relation to non-games, and how you can play the games out of order, or skip some titles. Input latency should be on "stable" or "normal" at the highest, because the guidance should have a delay, and because the guidance yokai is merely providing guidance, an input delay can act as an abstraction of the interactions with the 2hu being guided, because when you blindfold someone, and try to tell them how to draw something, line by line, it probably won't turn out exactly as described to them.
