I remember circa 10 years ago that there used to be idols who were middle-schoolers and very young. There was a forum, I don't remember the name, full of pirated japanese content who had a whole section about it.
Is this stuff still in production or have the laws changed? Were the children from poor families or they were a legit way to go into business?

I don't know a lot about idols but I'm curious about the politics and the dynamic of this. Are there good articles about this whole deal?

I'm a digital forensic expert for 10+ years now and I can confirm that the image of the cat sitting on the hob open with a very anguished facial expression is FAKE.
Using my forensic tools, I was able to determine that the image is a composite image because of the overlap shadows, which was showing 2 images/layers (one with cat on stove - hob is not lit, and the other is the cat not on the stove - but the hob is lit) merged and flattened.
A blue glow was added on the layer with the cat on stove but the hob is not lit.
Image is most likely low res from being shared over and over in the web, but it could also be low res to mask the image edits.
They also used GIMP.

No idea, but I genuinely wonder about the future prospects for her. What that means is that there is only one file, and a bunch of people seeding it if they have that same file.
So if the guys with like 1tb collections are willing to seed it 4free they can get a possibly permanent host of their files if enough people back them up and start seeding stuff they download too.
This thing is still in development so there's only a command line program for it.

The system on youiv.tv seems totally different but the two sites seem related so what's up with that?
You can buy coins to purchases releases but there is also a VIP that you can buy. Is it worth it? Seems like VIP gives you 300gb a month. Does that mean I can download 300gb worth of stuff without using coins? Seems pretty worth it if that's the case.

I have never paid for pirated content before so I'm a little worried to be spending money and giving my cards details for this.

Looks like dmm came out with a new video player, still missing 90% of the features of vlc or mpc though. And the files are now dcv instead of wmv.

The biggest improvement is some files would play like shit on the old player (dropped frames, duplicate frames, overall choppy/shitty playback), and the one video I tested so far that seems to be completely fixed. Fucking Finally.

However, HD movies cost way more than the points you're allotted but you can buy premium points to break the cap (you can not mix standard points with premium points). If you are a bitrate nazi then import the blu-rays.

If you are ok with video quality ranging from WTF to that's not bad then maybe you consider it. Their quality ranges anywhere from re-encode of a encode with added watermarks, to the same bluray rip you find on AO, 4chan etc. (because they stole it from AO, 4chan, etc).

If you just want bang for buck, this is probably your best option, because it's your only option.
a $40ish membership get's you something like 2HD movies, and anywhere from 15 to 25+ non-top quality titles.

that $40 may get you 1? Blurays imported?

I joined before, not happy with the 100K HD bullshit but overall do not regret getting 25ish movies for the $20 basic membership (no HD bonus points). Just wish they had better disclosure/documentation about it...

Not that it means much, but it's still better than loot boxes because there is no chance involved. You pay for X points, the movie costs Y points.
