I've always thought Arcueid's original design was near perfection, as well as iconic for her character. Given the fact that she had awoken in the modern world, her fashion sense might be considerably limited - the "granny" skirt just works (and she makes it look good!) Her whole outfit looks like something she got from a thrift store.. the irony here is that she has wealth, but tends to be humble about herself.

That said, the only thing I like about her redesign is the addition of the boots. The shoes seem impractical.
Give me the long purple shirt with the boots any day.
