im still new to touhou, i began playing some weeks ago
but one thing bugs me, when playing EoSD on easy, i always lose at least 2 lifes at cirnos "icicle fall", oh man, its so hard dodging all those bullets

Nice going OP.

EoSD can be beat if one is patient enough by memorizing the patterns, training spell cards and learning where to bomb.

But honestly, fuck EoSD, the real shit is SA. At least you can train against Remilia and Sakuya's cards by beating the game continuing, but I can't beat Utsuho with 3 lives, so I can't unlock her for practice. Especially since I don't know how to dodge her nuclear bullshit. I need to find some strategies with her cards, I don't normally like watching videos to see the best way to dodge, I rather find out by myself, but damn I can't do much if practice mode isn't open.

Have you cleared SA OP? If yes, what character did you use? I'm trying with Reimu A but I'm starting to doubt my decision.

Really? They aren't easy, but when I tried with Reimu B the cards seemed harder. I was able to capture all Satori's cards with Reimu A (normal), but yeah I can't do it all the time. One specific card that fucks me up with Reimu B is one when Satori comes after you leaving a stray of bullets behind her. I damn those cards that physically comes after you, SA is full of this shit.

Yeah, it's something mine. I don't have a lot of patience when dealing with cards, there is something in me telling me to beat it ASAP so those that require careful dodging for 30 seconds or so bothers me the most.

Like the Stage 2 mid boss card. It's not a hard card at all but I keep getting killed cause I want to get the most shots in.

I guess I behave like this because unconsciously I know that if I'll start to lose concentration if I don't move on. I get nervous or whatnot. So the longer I'm dealing with a card, the higher the chances I will fuck up, exponentially.

Anyone here having problems running EoSD on Vista? I can't get it to work in full screen mode.

I'm new to these games, my biggest achievement this far has been beating the game on easy mode. Now I've been playing on normal, Remi seems to be just too hard for me. Oh well, some day...
