So, I just finished Saya no Uta.
Yeah, I'm a bit late to the game, blah blah.

Long story short, I absolutely loved it and I want more games like that.
I've played all the Type Moon stuff, Wanko, Yume, Ever17, TfT, Utaware, and some others. None of them I liked as much as Saya no Uta.
I've got Chaos;Head downloaded, but I don't think any other Nitro+ games have been translated.

Can anyone point me in a direction of something similar to Saya? Preferably something dark and disturbing, but immersive enough that I can wank to somebody getting raped?

I didn't really pay attention myself, despite having played ToHeart, ToHeart 2 XRATED and ToHeart2 AD, but I figure it was probably called a mine for the same reason things like Garden and Dies Irae are called mines - because they didn't contain content that the fanbase wanted/expected. Whether this has anything to do with the quality of the game is up to the individual. Garden was a bit of a disappointment for me (but if/when that promised patch comes out, and if Tonoike Daisuke's written every bit of the replacement content, I'll probably re-evaluate Garden and consider it to be a much better game. Dies Irae I had no real problems with. ToHeart2AD mostly did what I expected, so there was no disappointment or surprise there.

I'll play pretty much any and every high-profile eroge, even if everyone says it's shit, so it's not like I was going to go LOL EGS 40% or whatever th2ad was sitting on at the time and not get it.
