Disregarding stupid opinions, hero or heroine is a term to determine her status more so than her character.
With Shirou being the hero in each path, each girl plays a different role and contributes both to his growth and the way the plot unfolds.

Sakura's role is for the exposition of what's really happening in the Grail war and to give another take on Shirou's path and ideals.

After that, comment like 'slut' or 'evil' are just oversimplified opinions that do not change her role or importance in the story.

Arc - Mary Sue
Ciel - Curryshit
Akiha - DFC, tsunder imouto
Hisui - quiet Rei type clone
Kohaku - Yandere

It is basically the same thing with FSN.
Saber - Mary sue
Rin - Tsunder, zettai ryouki
Sakura - Slut kitchen bitch, weak type who is always sick and need help.
