The real reason is because idolshits kept making threads all across boards, and eventually someone higher up decided to just say "fuck it" and dump them into /jp/. For some reason we're the board for trash instead of the board literally made just for /trash/. There's a thousand other places it could be but we're slow enough that to mods it didn't matter.
