I've seen some quality original content made by people associated with it, but I dunno. They may have the same interest, but they feel way too different from the typical /jp/sie. I don't think many of them earnestly enjoy Touhou in the sense that people here do either, so most conversation on the topic would probably feel a bit stifled.

I enjoy this board, even if all the imagedump threads may be shallow, there's plenty of interesting conversations that can sometimes be found in them, and the gameplay thread is great for getting useful advice or sharing your progress as you clear the games (wish I was good at that), but when you look over the catalog, you come to the startling realization that there's rarely anything there in regards to Touhou besides these two things. I can understand this being caused by the series not being as popular as it once was, but I'd still like to find a place with different topics on the same thing.

Wrong, if anything the Japanese Touhou fandom is reclining harder. All thanks to gacha shit, every day more and more Japanese Touhou artists and doujin circles are converting to bote/fate heresy. The Western Touhou fandom was never huge and it's remained more or less stable.
