I was miffed about getting a motif shell for Baselard when I was trying to finish daily multiplayer before reset, since she's the only one I finished of the three. I keep forgetting to analyze it, but it probably won't be her new gun.

I wonder if they change the firing patterns. Stylet's original assault rifle is just about the only rifle I like using.

Baselard get a dual gunblades but its charge attack is pretty hard to use.

Yeah, the original weapons for the FAG three aren't particularly exciting, I haven't seen the new rifles yet but I'll have a look.

In comparison the 501st got a fully custom shit of ridiculous shit (I'm pretty sure you can clear most things just by using dash-fire over and over again) but in the end I like both series so I guess I myself can just be happy with it.

Gourai's bazooka fired pretty fast and the third consecutive hit produced a large explosion.
Stylet's rifle had an inaccurate spread, so it would hit other enemies near the target too making it pretty good for formations.
Baselard's pistol shots would linger in the spot they impacted.

Try it with Garga lead, Iris, V.Eris (if you have Ruby motif) or KC Chiara. Basic strat: use Garga on Room 1 & 3, Eris/Chiara on Room 2. I highly recommend Eris because fistfighters can escape the annoying grabs. Also, lifesteal.

Now, the equips. First of all gear up your WE Iris. At this point, really, you should've at least fully unlocked all her EX slots. Basically just stack lots of AS bonuses to improve HP auto-heal. Drill her WE motif and put 30% AS on the 3rd slot. Use King Chimera and King Jaguar plates. You can get AS 25~30% accessory from Emma event as random drop.
For King Garga the Based, use Eris' bow. Plates should be King Queen plate, WE plate and/or any other 1-slot plates that have crit.
For Eris/Chiara: bear doll, crit ribbon, nacht plate, anything else that improves crit.

Its probably heavy grinding, which can be good if you forsaken mmos and transitioned to kusoges as the new time sink, because mmos aren't made like back then. Expect pay to win, but free to play(barely) aspects, but more leeway on the grind because it also is on mobile, so there would be a point where you aren't ideally spending 12 hours a day grinding. If it is fun then there's no problem really. You do play games for fun right?

Pretty good graphic for a mobage, constant contents update, nice gameplay but it may get boring after a while since you basically repeat the same thing over and over, and there is no auto function.
Balance is pretty wacky, no real end game contents as they use a level bracket system where bosses just get tougher after you reached a certain level range.
Gacha can be a complete bitch at time. There are a few characters that can carry you with just F2P gears, but a good chunk of the roster requires you to roll for specific gacha gears to become potent.

+ good quality of life updates, but only after months of suffering from stupid design choices like a billion different farmable currencies

- gacha currency gain is too low compared to how much each roll cost, at most you can get enough for 2 10-roll in a month if you're good
- awful rates
- don't like to give away gacha currency too much stuff, it's a miracle if you get 1/3 of a single roll as an apology for something
- there is always a catch when something apparently good is given for free. A free S character? Yeah that's cool buuuut you need to upgrade it to SS for her to be good, better roll the gacha anyway or farm for several months
- to get good stuff without paying you need to grind for 3-6 months
- no interesting endgame PVE content

They make pretty games and when you think they are getting better as a company and care about the players they pull some jew shit that reminds you they're still trying to get money from you at every turn. Also Genshin is nothing like Houkai gameplay-wise. Genshin has better map exploration but the combat is too simple compared to Houkai.

There's Dirac Sea, Armada Matrix, Path of Apotheosis, Memorial Arena, Eye of The Deep, Open World.

Dirac Sea is done a few times per week, an average session last between 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the difficulty. You battle through 4 floors and try to score high to advance to the next tier or stay in the current one.
Armada Matrix is an infinite randomly generated dungeon you can climb as long as you have fuel (which is pretty much infinite after a while), however there is nothing interesting you can get from there.
Path of Apotheosis is a bunch of gimmicky stages you need to complete every week. Worth doing but the whole run doesn't even last 30 minutes.
Memorial Arena is 15 fights every week to try to score high on a leaderboard.
Eye of The Deep is a 12-man raid. You can only get the best rewards once per week. Kinda lame and currently closed.
Open World is an open map you can run around and kill stuff, you go there to complete request (need AP to accept them) and collect items. After a while you stop collecting items and get the request done as fast as you can.

Dirac Sea is the only relevant mode that doesn't need stamina since it's your main source of gacha currency. Everything else important needs stamina. Stamina stops being an issue once your account is old enough since you can hoard stamina refill items given from events (I currently have 70 which is equal to 2100 stamina) so you can play whatever you want for as long as you want (as long as you aren't limited by an entry limit), but a new player has no way to get that many that fast.

Genshin doesn't have action point stamina (only regular stamina for running, climbing, etc) instead has daily dungeon entries. Dungeons are the best source of exp so you're still gated on how much relevant content you can do per day. Spawns in the open world are tied to a timer too.

"Great technical people" is a bit of a stretch considering the games are made in Unity. Not to discredit the game, it looks and runs well enough and has its own animated cutscenes and such but it also has a lot of reused assets for example.

Her unique multiplies her atk/matk buff numbers by 10 and ups the action speed buff, so in that regard it makes rushing down fights in story stages/arenas a lot easier. Kinda falls off in usefulness for higher hp content. It's definitely one of the better uniques to get, but its still possible to clear most stuff without it.

Stuff like Honkai is an outlier because most stuff you'd normally want to read is in Japanese unless you have an interest in Chinese entertainment and Chinese media.
The Chinese to Japanese translations are often pretty good with minor errors because the people doing them are fluent in both languages while the people doing X to English tend to be awful in different ways because the people doing them are not fluent in English at all and/or believe the best way to reach their western audience is with memes because the west loves their memes.
And because of the entire memes thing, we end up with a lot of memes that weren't in the original script in many game localization but Honkai EN seems to really overdo it with nearly every line being an anime reference to something.

GBF does the farming aspect really well. The stronger you get the more content you can auto. The stronger your pool is the more contribution you provide in raids and get more rewards. What I like the most about the game is that it doesn't force you to use certain character for any content aside from challenges(HL) and min-maxing the GW.

Log in later that day some hours later to collect free AP and dump AP on some other thing like open world missions.

They could literally just introduce a completely new girl and then reveal that she's always known kishi-kun since forever but didn't know he also played Legend of Astorum. That being said, the childhood friend archetypes works a lot better in the original Priconne because in Re:Dive they all have amnesia and don't remember their history with kishi-kun anyways.
