That doesn't make any sense with episode 3.
And even worse with beato's clash with Shanon thorough the series.

Moreso, it rather sounds like beatrice (the human) became a witch in order to live, and went on rampage.
Or, from my own personal theory: it is possible that beato was created by Battler himself as the later probably figured an ugly truth from episode 1 and wished unconsciously that it is rather a witch.

In Japanese forums, there have been some "non-Miyo" theories.
One of them says it's Shannon.
It might be difficult for non-Japanese speakers, but Sayo can be read as "3(sa)4(yo)".
Lambdadelta is an entity who made Beatrice a witch. And Shannon broke the mirror and released Beatrice's power into Rokkenjima.
We can say that they practically did the same thing to Beatrice's magic, which works in Rokkenjima at October 4-5 1986.

So what could the structure be?
We know that Bernkastel is powerless against Beatrice's rule.
And that 36 could easily destroy it.

Bern's power allow her to have infinite continue if there's even one chance for her to win.
I don't see how anything could defeat that power in normal condition, it's strange that Bern is so sure that her power could never work on Beatrice.

In a "normal" world, it's sure that one way or another Battler or someone else would be able to catch the culprit or something, if they could retry again and again.

So my theory is that either something happened prior to the 2 days that forced the characters to react in a "scripted" way.
Or that pretty much everything that happen is literally a script, a delusion or a fiction, most likely from Maria or Battler.

It would make sense at least for Bern's power to not work against events that are already "written".

It's like the magic starts when Battler sees that it was Maria all along,as Beatrice follows his own rules (read the first episode and the tea party carefully.),and therefore i suspect Beatrice is his delusion and the whole chess game is just in his mind, would that make "Beatrice" the part of his own mind that wants to accept witches and run away from reality?

Alright
In Ange's world ("aftermath" of EP3 with Eva surviving), we learn that Kumasawa's son, Nanjo's son and Ange herself got letters soon after the incident containing a keycard with a password: 07151129. These were for a bank account with some money on it, can't remember how much exactly but of course not as much as Kinzo's hidden gold.

With EP4, things do get more and more ridiculous
So ridiculous you'd think this is just a dream or something

>> No.2155014

Okay.

The seven stakes each represent the one of the adults and their motivations. The stake that kills people in the twilights is meant to hint at which adult killed them in real life. EP3 suggests that Leviathan and Belphegor represent Kyrie and Rudolph. I also have a suspicion that Mammon is Eva, considering her and Ange's interactions in EP4.

By the same token, the Siestas are probably another group of people, (either the kids or the furniture) and Rudolph and Gaap act as facilitators to the 'witch'.

In EP2, Satan and Asmodeus are the ones that kill Jessica and Kanon in the second twilight. I can't seem to wrap my head around why Natsuhi would kill off her daughter, nor why Rosa would help her. It also suggests that one of the bodies in the 1st twilight is a fake.

...i think the stake hunt in episode 3 (1st twilight) may be a metaphor of 7 adults looking for sacrifices... So does this metaphor even work with ep.2? or it's ep.3-4 exclusively? (It's incredibly accurate in ep3.

Well, Rosa does seem to have a major change in attitude after the murder of those two occurs, going on the offensive. She also was quick enough to suggest that Kanon could've been the culprit. It's not entirely unreasonable to think that Krauss/Natsuhi made a deal with Rosa to betray her other two siblings.

What I don't get then is the 'Fake Kanon' that shows later.

I get the feeling that the only reason we're told of the mirror in EP2 is to establish their relationship as a motive for the murders, either on the part of the George's parents or George and Shannon themselves.

In any case, it suggests that In EP1, their relationship is still secret, whereas in EP2 (and probably EP3 and 4, they're found out.

What I like about this theory is that while it's easy for Battler to accept a servant causing the murders, he'd be more reluctant to accept a family member doing it, so he invents all the magic like the stakes to protect his image of them. It might also explain the seistas in EP3, since Battler gets more disillusioned with the adults since the talk of money comes up, so he wants to believe that the kids are at least above the squabbles.
