There is in plus, somewhere in South Tyris, but it's a complete reset so you can't keep any attributes.
You're better off just making another living weapon.
Especially since rolling miracle+ equipment is so easy now with stardust, which is common from party time! quests.
Also since rerolling gives you a chance to roll with better base bonuses. Like making a fluere instead of a lightsaber for its inherent lightning damage and just equipment updating it to saber, or rolling for lucky drains/provokes/etc.

i'm only actually changing two lines, the line that caps party size to 16 (so that i can recruit little sisters/stray cats without dismissing one of my geared pets) and the sleep limitation on the cute fairy ability. changing either of them on hsed3 gives the error, when i know on 1.89.1 i could change the cute fairy restriction without any issues.

Lots of feats are locked behind prerequisites. I know most of the magic feats require control magic, for instance. It's not very well documented.

Which ones are missing? Certain feats won't appear unless you know the associated skill with them. Your character won't be able to choose weapon specialties that their race and class don't specialize in at level 1, but after starting the game proper you should be able to learn them as normal.

You should need healing and meditation for commander and tactics and gardening for farmer conscript. All characters get healing and meditation after character creation so commander should be available when you get your next feat point at level 5. You can just open up the menus and check the lists you hotkeyed them from. like [v, t, a, W, r, q, e] or whatever else. It shows hotkey numbers next to the name of the item/skill/spell.
Notepad or any other text editor would also work fine. Simply alt-tabbing to it makes that take the same amount of time, and you could use that for other notes as well if need be.

But the whole point of hotkeying them is to make them quick to access without thought.
Just remember them manually for long enough to build muscle memory, then you're good to go.

If you move them at all, does that reset the floor they connect to, or just allow access all the same?
If you reset it with [backspace enter], does that only reset the one floor, or the entire house?
How many floors can you have? I know only one set of up/down stairs can be bought per year at the Festival of Jure.
Are they ALL exact copies of your current house? I do have a palace already so that's probably fine regardless.
Can you have multiple sets of hired servants on each, or only the base floor?
If you move your house with a deed of removal deed, does that remove the stairs, change the position of stairs, or change the position of items? I've only ever moved when upgrading.

Bell bodyparts is an early, easily obtainable piece to get you started, and then after a while, you'd be able to LMAO ROGUELIKE something much stronger than you to death for better parts.

Poison resistance ## comes from chrome.

They can surpass artifacts, but in practice, it'd be pretty damn rare. Since they're shields they can have damage null, physical damage reduction, magic reflect, and cuts attacker all at up to 550 with ehekatl's gem effect. Good luck ever seeing that.

They're already better than shield-less unarmed for the bulk of the game. You'll probably be past act 3 before MA's base damage and your multi-attack gear is enough to out-damage the tonfa boosts. At that point gods and the void are all that remain. Even then, the difference is less than 2x even in the extreme case.

Did the rabbit give nothing at all or did it give other skills instead of riding? You can only transfer 1-3 per fusion, with some skills taking precedence over others.

Well, any translucency will be awkward. It's mostly from using a tool with transparency to create the hair. You probably want to use the pencil rather than the paintbrush, as far as GIMP goes.

You really do have to save it without transparency eventually to make it work with the game.
But the primary background color, usually that shade of green or black, acts as transparency once parsed by the game. Only that exact color, whatever it may be; no partials or near colors.

Divide by 4, they are 32x48. EZPZ.

You could do that.

Or you could just solidify it by selecting just the full transparency with [Select by color tool; 0 threshold], coloring that (green), then making a background layer of a single color (black) beneath it and merging down to nuke the transparency.
Which makes all translucent edges visible and easy to remove or modify.

Then just chop off what you don't like and add more back in with the pencil tool, using [pencil] with that green as a background instead of the eraser.

Use the pencil tool at opacity 100 and size 1 to work with individual pixels. Hold control to easily select nearby colors without needing to change tools.

You could make it match a little closer in color, and trim/fix the edges of the longcoat so that they're not ragged, then maybe add a little more shading. But all that is nitpicking.

Make sure to open it with paint and save it as BMP from that to guarantee it'll work in game. Otherwise it can be quite finicky.

I've always admired pixel artists too. It's quite the restricted medium. Takes a lot of balance, planning, and rules to keep things looking clean or proper.
If you want details, you have a limited resolution with which to portray them. Like, if you wanted the belt or pockets on the longcoat, you'd only have 1 to 3 pixels wide to work with; and it has to intuitively look like what it's supposed to be.

But if you do have the time, and are willing to try some trial and error, you can get something out that looks pretty decent, if not good or even great.
Detail and beauty takes skill, but it is actually within reach. There's only so many combinations of pixels to go together.

One of the things I like about Elona's graphics is that they're definitely just detailed enough to get the point out, while still being achievable by regular players without crazy experience beforehand. So you can easily modify what you want in without it looking too out of place.

Just by comparing them. Side by side, section by section with a grid if necessary.
They don't really need to be the same exact shape. Just the same general form, and position within their tile.

Generally the 1st and 3rd columns' heads/torsos are slightly higher than the 2nd and 4th. Just by one pixel. Because characters are a bit shorter/lower when stepping.
You have the bottom row doing that, but none of the rest.
The first row has the 3rd and 4th 1 extra pixel lower. The second row has only the 1st higher. The third are all equal height.
So if you're worried about positioning then align that.

Custom, as far as end users are concerned, is mostly just translation, Custom AI for pets, and whatever you can find in the Tweaks menu.

Custom-G removes thirst/piss and a bunch of nerfs added over time.
It also bare minimum machine translates all untranslated dialogue rather than leaving it blank/placeholder.
(Though there may still be some placeholder stuff or weird stuff the developer copypasted from other sections but only changed the Japanese text for)
And makes the new ranch micromanaging mechanics optional in Tweaks.

Custom-GFU makes a TON of QoL changes that are DEFINITELY overpowered from any perspective of balance.
But that version is designed as a way to push through newer content without spending a ton of time grinding. Like if you've already played for thousands of hours, got all the fun out of that you want, and just want something quicker or a crazy god mode basically.

Generally you'd just leave it in memory or the copypaste buffer and have programs read from that. Very popular to do with ITH/TA. No need to edit the source or waste I/O on a secondary txt file. Especially since Elona already stutters on slow I/O access normally; I'm not sure if there's any way to handle that asynchronously with HSP.

Trimmed the coat.
Added / replaced a little bit of color for the shoes/shirt/coat/face in certain spots.
And for the hair I wound up going through and making all the hair the exact same pattern pixel by pixel, making sure to make the stepping versions one pixel shifted down this time.

Black angel and golden knight are the cutest. For feats go with guts and weapon skills in oomsest. In plus barrier is the best AP feat, for the second one I'd go with obstinate since it still helps at full health, but it's not as important. Also pick up chara quality up, probably after barrier but before obstinate.

It's supposedly enough to cover swarming sandbagged bubbles. I've seen that grinding method recommended several times. So it might stack with how many mobs you hit at the very least.
But regardless, it's stamina. Even worshipping Kumiromi in +, which is only 1 per turn, does a difference sometimes.

Go all the way, yeah. 5 feats will double your pet's durability. Compare to ascetic which will increase a god pet's durability by about 30% for 5 points and is still overall a good feat.

Depending on how specific that >>21473350 picture is, you could change some colors. I really like teal eyes (Though I really love teal to begin with). And the shoes could use some darkening to match the longcoat rather than being white, if they're supposed to.
Then you could add some more detail. Like the pockets and belt to the longcoat, or the wrapping on the sword's sheath, or the ball on the handle of the sword.
Try and match the pre-existing shading where relevant with those if you do. They eyes and sword are already done in that matter.
