Marisa, sakuya and remiu should stop dicking around and becoming youkai/immortal. All the cool kids are doing it.

Marisa will probably become a Youkai magician like Alice or Patchouli.

Reimu has hax and is friends with Yukari (border of life and death anyone?) so she'll probably go the Youkai way eventually. As Nietzsche said, "He who fights monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster."

And Sakuya? Probably already an immortal Lunarian, nothing else makes sense.

They already did, Erin is sakuya from the future, Alice is Marisa from the future and Remui is Yukari from the future. All three came from a grim n dark future where everything was destroyed. So Future reimu fucked with the boundary between past and present and came back intime with the only other two survives of gensokyo (Marisa and Sakuya) in order to stop the future from happening. Touhou is one big paradox, mind fuck.

I remember maybe a month or so back somebody made a post to the effect that Reimu could already be an immortal. Had to do with the concept in shintoism (sp) that spiritually powerful people who become immortal gain the ability to fly.

from the official material, in the earlier games Reimu had to fly around on her turtle. In EoSD she gained the ability to fly under her own power.

More power + Flight = Immortal Miko.
