hey I was just wondering what the cell phone system was like in Japan. I mean, is it like NA where people get ripped off from big companies with service plans that last years, or are there a lot more and convenient pay as you go cell phones available to buy in most stores?

also, anyone know if they have VoIP on their cell phones yet??

Japanese cell phones are years ahead of what we have here. With the exception of maybe the iPhone, seeing as how that's popular over there.

Dunno, all the phone's I've seen there are keypad.
I guess you can look TV and browse 2ch and blogs but they're far from being the endall of modern communicatio.

Japan only likes iphone because it's apple, otherwise it's pretty behind in functionality. It doesn't even have 1seg, which it should, for it's ridiculous price.

Multipoint touch screens existed when the DS was made, Nintendo just decided they were too expensive to use. Same as how the Virtual Boy could've been full color, the Wii could have had perfect 1:1 motion control without this MotionPlus nonsense (Nintendo agreed, don't bother them about it), etc. I don't think the DSi has them either, though I might be mistaken there.

What do you expect? I speak 4 languages, I cant speak them perfectly i make the same type mistakes when typing croatian, i dont have the will to check every sentence i type. I think one thing and type another, this happens.

An ellipsis can also be used to indicate a pause in speech, an unfinished thought or, at the end of a sentence, a trailing off into silence. I like them...

Additionally, like it or not, this is an English message board, and as such at least a certain baseline of English competency is expected. I wouldn't go to 2ch.ru and start yakking in broken Russian.

Abusing ellipses cause you to sound as if you're trailing off, which is both stupid and dumb and also stupid. It also makes you sound like you're 14 years old.

Additionally even if it's an english board I'm by no means obliged or whatever to speak proper English here, you see "english" forums all around the internet and most of then don't contain proper english with apostrophe in dont cant woldnt etc... and for bloody fucks sake we're on 4chan
