Why the hate?
I loved the music, characters and story.
Even the gimmick is actually fun, rewards taking risks and doesn't get in the way of doding danmaku.

characters are forgettable as well, with benben and literally who being less popular than pc98 characters
the gimmick is ass, its UFO tier but you have no idea if you have enough point items on screen for a bomb piece or life piece AND you have to risk your life every time. and even the stages are designed to be as annoying to get to collection border as possible

I don't get the hate either, I love everything about DDC.
I understand that it doesn't have the usual Touhou desings, feel and atmosphere, but that doesn't make it a bad game, just different from the rest.

The PoC gimmick is probably my favourite in the series. Music is top tier and half of the themes could easily be in my top 10. "You Grow Bigger" can eat shit.

I still can't 1cc it with SakuyaB though.
