Listen up /jp/, I've been avoiding this board like a fat 3d slut these past couple days and I'm tired of it.

It has been getting worse and worse by the day. We discuss the EXACT same things constantly. Can Shiki kill servants? I could give a shit less.

I just want to have fun with you guys again. Is that too much to ask?

I remember a time when we would make threads. But, they were good threads. We need to go back to those times /jp/. As a famous GameFaqer once said, "git gud".

Also, I ventured to another board or two for the first time in months, and we are extremely, extremely mean to each other in comparison. this is all around 4chan yeah, but I miss our sense of unity at the beginning.

The other day, out of curiosity, I went to /tg/ for the second time in the two years I've been on 4chan and I made a thread where I pretty much asked "How do I get into /tg/ stuff?". If a similar thread was made on /jp/ it would have been saged, flamed, and reported to hell and back; but that's not what happened here. I got informative posts, without any insults. I don't know if I'll ever go back there again, but truth be told I'm growing tired of 4chan and the people associated with it. I just don't know what to do with my time anymore.

It all depends on the attitude of the thread creator. If someone posts on /jp/ politely asking for visual novel recommendations or whatever they usually get helpful answers. But if they act like an asshole then /jp/ gets hostile. It just happens to be that most of the people who post here from other boards are assholes or idiots.

Well, it just so happens that my fellow workers are not really the most fun people to hang around (in my opinion). And guess what I get to hear EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY? "Oh hurr hurr that looks like a dildo! Hurr hurr how many dicks do you think she could fit in her mouth?" Fine, whatever, shrug it off, it's only few hours. Work keeps my mind off it considerably.

I get to my apartment and go on /jp/. Guess what I get greeted with? Of course, a Touhou in a provocative situation, with a bunch of idiots saying the same shit I have to deal with in work.

So what do I do? I have no interest in bitching at every single person on /jp/ that annoys me, and hell, it's the internet, so of course, I make my own topic, for discussing possible ideas regarding any of the certain specific Touhous.

Worst case: I end up replying and debating to myself for 20 posts, coming up with an idea I enjoy, only to have people go, "lolpowerlevels" when it wasn't even a powerlevel topic. I think it's fucking retarded that people just making up ideas for Touhou get bashed when posting random jokes and porn is generally acceptable. Shit, I don't even bother you guys in your little porn topics or anything, at the very least let me talk to myself for the next 10 posts in peace.

Best Case: I end up replying and debating to myself for 20 posts, coming up with an idea I enjoy, having a few serious posters come in and make a few replies, having more than a few people coming in and making their lame jokes, then having the topic die. I then go to bed, thinking of the grand possibilities I could recreate in doujinshi if I had the drawing skills necessary. A single tear rolls down my face as I go to sleep.

I still go on /a/, but its becoming so intolerable lately there's hardly any reason to stay. There's always at least 3 toradora therads, a few "LOL EPIC WIN 5 GET" and a shitload of troll threads. I just hope when we get some better shows next season /a/ gets better.

Relatively speaking, we're actually a pretty decent board.
/a/ is shit, all they talk about is tora dora and recent shit anime. /a/ never talks about good anime, I can't even find marimite thread there. If that's not bad enough, look at its tripfags. Matsuda, Infinity, Anonymous of the Philippines. I'd take athens over them anyday.
And /v/ sucks. It's filled with trolls. They always talk about the same games. Go to /v/ right now, half of all the threads there are SF4 threads. And if they're not talking about shit games, they're talking about GIRL GAMERS HURR DURR.
If you look at it that way, we at /jp/ aren't so bad after all. We actually get along pretty well compared to those boards.

Well, there's the occasional interesting theory about a Touhou. One of the reasons I'm so hesitant in sharing Touhou ideas is because for some reason, I'm expecting that I'll eventually magically learn to draw well enough to make a doujinshi with my idea.
