I can't believe Scooter Spirits actually got animated. The idea of someone basically fighting against the world while riding a scooter is kind of silly, that scooter must really be made with some alien technology to never break down and endure all the punishment they give it.

Should be a pretty fun watch though, I can't read Japanese but I played a bit of the game and liked what I saw but didn't stick to it due to not being able to read a thing. Think I did part of the first arc or most of it?

I guess its the fate of mobile game adaptations. I'm only watching because the game has a long history with /mbgg/ and I was convinced to play it here in the thread a while back on one of the anniversaries so the only way I'd give this a pass is if it ends up being really bad.

The only /mbgg/ related anime I couldn't stomach was Pastel memories because the first episode felt really boring and it really failed to sell the world and characters to me so I just skipped it.

I've tried both in the last week for a couple of hours.

Last cloudia is pretty boring gameplay wise I think and the combat doesn't feel good. Doesn't help that the manual combat is something you need to unlock with story progression.

Mist chronicle looks good but I'm not sure how much depth there is in the long run. Seems pretty generous as well. There's no English community for it as far as I know.

Yes it is and they're not out yet, they're a 3.1 thing but they might give a few tickets away. If you're willing to part with a few dollars might be easier to buy a starter account with them for cheap on a place like epicnpc.

There's land of wishes 1 and 2 so new accounts would start with their rerolled S-rank, a choice of S-rank between the three starter ones for 6000 crystals and then a choice between Ice Sakura, Blood Himeko and Phoenix fuka for 4800 after the first deal is completed. I think there was mention of a newbie event that gives pick of an A-rank too but i'm not too sure on that one.

In terms of motifs I think I have Ice sakura sword, Phoenix fuka fists, all theresa motif crosses except the blood one that I really wanted, the assault mei sword and the cannon for Dimensional bronya along with pretty much every other bronya cannon.

Out of all the named ones, I only actually have and use Mei and nun theresa because they're farmable and none of the motif weapons for characters I actually have or use which really hurts their damage and viability so I have to run them with poverty stuff.

Just play SEA or Global, whatever fits your timezone the best. Both soon will have the same content anyway. If you want the most active server then it's CN followed by SEA. Multiplayer is alive there and it's easier to communicate with your armada mates to coordinate runs. I play on JP and it's pretty dead here when it comes to co-op stuff unless it's the beginning or end of an event/raid. Very hard to find a random group that runs high difficulty stuff from beginning to end.

CN is fully censored due to the government. It's the original server and all content comes from them, if something is censored there it will be censored everywhere else because they are not making two versions of everything anymore (they used to do this for stigmata and costumes but stopped when it wasn't worth the effort). Global being the latest server released follows the CN build closely to avoid making the same mistake they did with JP and SEA which is why the touch is removed completely like in CN. SEA and JP took another approach, they kept it for old characters but all new stuff is exactly like in CN to not waste manpower and avoid possible bugs.

It is kind of a clusterfuck. Originally everyone played on JP but nobody really played or interacted with each other outside the ocassional story post or update posts but now the game is seeing a lot more discussion because of the loli twins and SEA is on the same update as JP on top of it being in English so there's some anons on SEA too.
I'd personally advise to avoid global unless you have friends or know people that would do multiplayer stuff with you there but its pretty much just sort of read up on the regional differences and pick your poison.

I played Shoumetsu Toshi a bit in the past. And now that I watch I the anime I feel like the game did the storytelling better. There aren't many good examples of adapting a VN's plot into anime. But oh well, Scooter Spirits at least looks half-decent. Not the top animations, but still better than average. Bossfights just didn't translate too well.

I did for a time being. It's "moderately" friendly as F2P if you're willing to do a considerable amount of grinding. Half the character progression is tied to gacha, the other half is from stage drops. There's a decent supply of gacha currency (by SE standards), and you really only need the top tier e-sports whale stuff if you wanna try the hardest content (which is only where whales and other turbo autists are at)

Exactly, people jerking off over design choices like not having chibis ties into them enjoying the presentation of the game more than anything. Most of the praise for Epic Sevens story comes from the main story line and one of the side events but the game being so flashy and having higher quality visuals than your average kusoge makes them perceive even the weaker ones as being better than they actually are. The spark system is a step in the right direction but it's an issue that's bigger than just getting Muimi because leading up to her we were stuck in limited hell for half a year and Christina is still equally as meta. Right now with all the permanents being added the game is in a nice spot because it gives us time to save up for the limiteds but if they run a bunch in a row again it's going to deteriorate very quickly. Even if we're smart and don't fall for KMR trying to suck our gems dry before the new limiteds are released, unless we end up luckshitting we'll probably end up missing out on a few characters unless we whale. Dungeon Maker, early game is pretty rough cause you need unlocks but they've made progressing to higher difficulties where you can farm tons of points insanely easier. There's another big patch coming out soon, devs are 12/10 incredible people who listen to feedback and constantly balance / add stuff to the game.
