is it just me or do chinese have the same word for love as the japanese, which is ai? personally, i think it's abhorrent that the chinese would copy glorious and beautiful japanese language and call it their own. nothing good has ever come from the land of china.

The Japanese copied the Chinese dialect. If anything, you should be bashing the Nihonjin for basing their entire language on chink shit.
Im not sure about the character for love but Japanese as a majority or even a whole is one copy of Mandarin that is heavily modified and altered for the use of the Japanese.

It's not really that the languages are similar as that Japanese still use the Chinese pronunciation of Kanji sometimes.
