Yeah with fujos especially who really loved the Garfield x Odie pairing (ガーフィーディー). Garfield is the reason BL doujins started becoming a thing during the 80s along with Saint Seiya and Captain Tsubasa as they felt Garfield and Odie had serious sexual tension that could've been explored.
