People who say Hisui is dull are superficial idiots. Just because she isn't some vampire or a wounded puppy dog doesn't mean she isn't interesting. What makes her so endearing is seeing her sensitive, emotional character subtly poke through her cold exterior until she finally confessed everything near the end of her route. Moeblob accusations are ridiculous due to the aforementioned and Hisui being one of the more fairly mature and understanding characters in the game, even though she's moe^11.

As mentioned before, different strokes for different folks. Then again, this is probably lost on those who feel the need to try to convince that their favorite heroines are better than everybody else's.

How do I unlock Brainwash Detective Hisui? I played through all of Kagestu Tohya and went through a fair bit of trouble to unlock HISUI-CHAN INVERSION IMPULSE!!.

Isn't that where she's supposed to be? Why were there no criminals? I am sorely disappointed and want my money back.

I finished Hisui's True ending last night. That was really wretched. I lasted up until Hisui talked to herself about the world sprouting wings, then I burst into tears.

That entire route was one of the worst things I've read. Not quite in the same class as declassified reports on projected nuclear attacks everybody dies or psychiatric literature on Auschwitz-Birkenau prisoners, but for a VN... fuck.

The 'melting wall' stuff from SHIKI's mind- what was that about?

Kohaku's diary and then her herself. The whole story changed after that.

I feel so violated having read it all. I'm dreading Kohaku's route.

So it's relevant to the OP, Hisui is defined by abscence. She's 'pure' but empty. The story around her is what makes her interesting. Also, bad sex scenes. Just terrible.
