I got a call from a recruiter for a job I've always wanted.

My c++ is very rusty though, and its a major part of the job. I need to take an exam before they consider me.

;;

I really want a job anon, I hate being a leech.

How did you know what you wanted to do with your life, /jp/?
I've spent 12 years trying to figure it out and I got nothing.

Focus on compounding activities: write, build something, learn and make a deck of Anki cards, etc.

>compounding activities
You mean like activities that go together in a way that leads to making you more skilled/knowledgeable in general?

Life is a journey. Even if you think you know what you want do to, you may find one day you want to do something else. Maybe it's best to just be doing something, rather than reaching for some perfect goal.

Is the same as compounding interest, you do a little everyday and you don't interrupt it unnecessarily. You start from a freakishly small base and eventually get massive dividends. The activities mentioned work that way. A daily journal is a small habit you do each day, at first it may seem insignificant, but, as time goes on, it may made a huge difference for your learning, reflecting, and peace of mind.

I just opened my own company and found a way to make money with minimal amount of work. I'm technically gonna be NEET 6 days a week with an occasional phonecall to answer. Feels good to not have to wagecuck.

It's not some crazy secret that will make you rich like those "X hate him" ads. It's just an AC business. I have a cousin that has ton of experience in the field but is completely illiterate when it comes to paperwork and I happen to be good at it so I run the company and he does the actual work and I get a good cut. Now that it's all set I can basically do everything in a couple of hours and be free the rest of the week since he's taking care of the rest. Home AC isn't that popular in my country so there is tons of work both installing and servicing and the best part is that if I need more money I can join in punctually. The only real trick is pretending I'm always busy.

I decided I want to have revenge on normies who laughed at me in school, and as we all know, the best revenge is success. So I searched for a high-status thing to do, and by the power of my hate alone, I got into med school and soon will be finishing it. I don't even care about the money, I just want to see people butthurt about the fact that the weird autistic kid achieved more than them

I didn't found what I wanted to do, but I've been founding the things that I didn't want to do. In the end, I chose a career based on what I would be interested, and I'm getting there.
To be honest, maybe my life goal is being able to leave my parent's home and living a somewhat laidback life where I can immerse in my hobbies at peace.
