Boss characters are heavily reliant on having their 5* weapon and 5* mirror. They also can't be healed by party members and have to rely on self healing.

You should some of the GE step up to at least get some easy gear for Claire and Alisa. Tales isn't really a game that relies on powercreep and you'll want a wide variety of characters ready for tower and event drop bonuses anyways.

Compass has updated with a few balance changes. If you're on Android make sure your Google Play Games is up to date unless you want to bootloop.

The next season will be themed around Tadaomi and will run from the 6th ~ 17th
A bogstandard double UR gacha will run until the 3rd, and Thorn's cards will be added to the pool starting with a double UR gacha running from the 1st ~ 5th.

For balance -
Tadaomi:

>Defence increased from 0.80 to 0.85

Miku:

In a half-serious note, I welcome our soon-to-be Chinese overlords. Most of their stuff is still kuso but there's a lot of that have a distinctly different feel compared to most Japanse kusoge.

Most of it is still accurate except the character part. We've gotten so many new swords that outclass all the old UR in both kit and survival. Tsuda for example still has a great and balanced kit but compared to a new UR which lets her make the player and their teammates immune to all damage tsu-chan just doesn't hold a candle to her.

Also the guide fails to mention that medium and small swords have a damage cap at 6500 attack while large and slower swords have the cap set at 5500 attack.

Here's an old tier guide that might help you get started it's still pretty accurate but missing shit like the vice commander which puts even the SSS tier girls to shame. Also it's a good time to reroll today since every limited is available today. It's a shame this game isn't as popular as it was while back it's really come a long way and improved alot.

I can Google "gacha banner" right now and get nearly a million hits. I can remove FEH from the search and still be left with over 900k. It's used in many MANY games. A banner is just an image, the actual thing you roll is a gacha. No game in Japanese uses the word banner so people who play those games don't either. You can just cheese the EX boss with character equip Peco. She can survive the boss including it's final attack so you just send her at it like 40 times to do half of its hp and then you can finish it off normally. Pudding works too but you have to figure out the timing to get it to go invulnerable during its final attack.

I think it's a game by game basis. Many games the "dick pick" meme works just fine as esports is barely a thing. Start with the units you like while learning the game. You'll enjoy the earlier portion of the game more and most combinations work just fine early on.

By the time you start heavily investing resources, you should be able to figure out who to invest in (or find a tier list if you're not confident). Your options will increase every few weeks or faster, and power creep means there's a good chance the current top unit will be replaced by the time you reach endgame anyway. Heck, the endgame might be different from the current endgame altogether.

You'll also miss out on a lot if you just go with the strongest units from the start. You also might not understand why they're so good compared to other units.

In conclusion, my advice for new players to any mobage or browser game is "pick with your dick". That doesn't mean you keep picking with your dick forever, just for the early game.

That's terrible advice though. In games where building characers is an investment, this "pick with your dick" can put you back weeks/months for bad decisions or can sour your entire opinion of the game because its not fun to struggle all the time.

And like it was said, discovering the units you heavily invested on are terrible and that you should have invested on completely different people from the start might make you quit because you can't be motivated to rebuild your team from zero. Its much better to give it to people straight and let them decide if they want to play favorites fully knowing their favorites are shit or go with the actually good units and switch to building their favorites later after they have established themselves in the game and can spare the resources to do so without gimping yourself.

Misleading people and making them think that anything works is the dickiest move in everything because building for the early game is always a huge mistake considering you get past that stage of games where everything is super easy very quickly.

Unless you just play five minutes a week, you should reasonably be able to go through the fourth box of rewards. I tend to slack off a lot through the events and still have plenty of time and stamina to get the majority of the non-useless stuff. I'm liking 4* Assault Break, very fast, has IS break and iframes. 4* Dhaos Saber is strong but a bit slow. 4* Tetra Shadow is garbage, gonna replace it with Dhaos Laser if I get it. 5* Dhaos Collider is underwhelming for what it cost to use. 3* Twin Assault is good. 3* Gale Assault is situational, not a bad arte but makes you move away from the enemy at the end so if you use it you need to follow up with Dhaos Saber or Dhaos Laser.

Upgraded my CC a bit more and Collider is not as bad as I initially thought. Since Dhaos has very fast normal attacks and Collider has good IS break you can meme it up and do Normal x3 > Collider > Collider > Hidden Collider then wait for CC to recover and do it again. x2 normal and a random arte somewhere in the chain is fine too.

Its a really annoying bug but eventually your request goes through and it recovers your account. Its hard not to get annoyed/frustrated when you've spent a good while trying to get it to work though.

I personally quit Tenka a long while ago and prefer smaller girls so giant tits aren't going to bring me back but I always had that issue when trying to use the twitter recovery option and the only fix I could find was to just keep trying. Password recovery didn't have this issue so I'm sad they got rid of it.

Generally I prefer a good design over anything else.
