As a newbie, I waited forever for a Fuko revival and I had far better tanks by the time she came back. I kept asking for that Fuko revival but by the time it came I could either delete the entire map before they got to me or just tank stuff with way better tanks so I got her to AW then never used her.

Keraunos comes back every two months and I honestly wish they'd add it to the daily revival instead of cucking us from a real revival like that all the time.

You should definitely pick up the Keraunos title next time the revival rolls around. Until you do that you can probably leave Sarah on the backburner unless you use emperor often. Her passive and skill make him decently tougher, and tokenizing units is always a plus in my book. She's also a decent blocker herself with AW2/SAW.

It was 5 11 rolls on the current newcomer gacha.
As straightforward as that is, how is it bad?

If you had 25k gems when the gacha got added you can get the new rainbow.
If you didn't you'd gamble the standard rates.
Now you might say that this prevents you from rolling until you have 25k gems if you wanted to use the pity rainbow, but how the hell is it any worse than right now, where you blindly wait for the previously teased girls that might come during any fortnightly maintenance without warning, and you can't waste gems on other gachas because of this, since there's no set goal you don't know how much you need to spend.
It could well be 100k, or just 5k, in which case you're not restricted by the pity system anyways even if it was in place.

FKG has two pity systems right now, and a third that only appeared as a one-time deal. The first is the rainbow medals, which are obtained in very small amounts with gold/rainbow dupes and a new ticket system. You can get about one rainbow pick per year with them, which is stupidly slow, so people asked for a new guarantee system. This came in the form of RG crystals, which let you promote a gold or lower girl to rainbow with comparable stats/skills, and come as you roll the gacha. You get about one promotion every 4-5 months with these, so the current pace is reasonably decent.

Slightly after the mobile version came out, they also had a deal where you were guaranteed a specific rainbow if you rolled her gacha 5 times. This was a nice gesture, except of course I didn't have 250oo stones at the time and couldn't get jack shit, and they didn't repeat it since. I don't like the "must save up or get fucked" aspect, but the real reason is that the deal was way too cheap, they'd bankrupt themselves if they handed out one rainbow per month (well, maybe a little longer, but you can easily get ~250 flower stones in ~5-6 good weeks).

It's insane, trying to speed up any method of getting a rainbow directly interferes with the others.

A "Pity mechanic" is a Gacha mechanic where the system takes "pity" on you for having rolled X amount of times without getting the highest rarity and hands you one. Also called Mileage systems too.

An "Evolution" or "Limit break" mechanic is where you take a character you own and promote them to the highest rarity to put them on par with the highest rarity units you rolled from gacha.

These are completely and absolutely different systems that have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Trying to compare them or count the rarity growth system as a "Pity system" for the sole reason that it gives you a rainbow is honestly beyond stupid because you're comparing apples and oranges here.

I've come to terms that the equip slots and skill levels for rainbows is a pure P2W feature that F2P players will never really be able to take advantage of so I don't really mind it.
The rainbow medal system is an absolute joke though and now that's actually constricting for a F2P player because if you manage to hit 300 medals then you need to think really carefully about that choice because odds are you're not going to hit that 300 ever again unless FKG does some hardcore changes this year or next.

I was playing earlier today and I ran into a glitch where I would go to the gallery, use up all my love click points, then go to main menu, but even though the girl status updated, game glitched and still showed me max click points.
I switched forward and back like 30 times before the issue resolved itself, managed to do days worth of grinding in 20 mins. Is anyone aware of this bug and if its replicable, or if there are any other good exploits?

Ballista needs to ramp for a long time before it gets that absurd burst damage. It's super useful in some situations, but you need to know where to place it ahead of time so it's not exactly great in blind runs.

But the tank is good against crowds because of its nice aoe, and it's good against stronger/tougher enemies because of true damage and enough toughness to take a hit. More importantly, you can place it whenever and wherever you need it without more than a second needed to change to true damage.

Overall Char's more usable than Dolly, but I think it's nice that Char isn't just a direct upgrade.
