Japan selflessly fought against the Western imperialists for the freedom of all Asian peoples, and brought order to a China tormented by the despotism of mafia-like warlords. But the U.S. greedily saw this as a threat to business interests in China, and gave huge sums of aid and military support to said warlords. Japan was forced to make war with the U.S., already a de facto belligerent by proxy.

The Japanese soldiers fought with unparalleled valor, yet always chivalrously, always fairly. The U.S., on the other hand, fought with scornful negligence of the principles of just and legitimate warfare, massacring hundreds of thousands of innocent Japanese civilians in a ruthless campaign of terror bombings and, most atrociously, deploying the atomic bombs over Hiroshima and Nagasaki, a barbaric form of warfare alien to the very spirit of Japanese culture and morality.

Perhaps the sad truth is that the world is to malicious a place for a country like Japan. If she would only have condescended to the same filthy kind of warfare that the Americans and the Chinese waged, it is possible, even likely, that she would have prevailed.

In the light of history, Japan is the greatest victim of WWII.

>The above description was given in a testament by Jesus Christ.

The funny thing is that there's been archaeological evidence that Jesus was buried in Jerusalem and yet they continue to believe this.

American support in China prior to Pearl Harbor was negligible. The notion that America was pouring funds and resources into China to protect business interests is fucking stupid.

The Japanese were probably the least "honorable" country in the second world war. Their treatment of the Chinese was horrific, and included air raids on civilian centers, mass murder, and the use of chemical weapons.

Their refusal to surrender after they knew for sure that the war was lost (post midway) led to the deaths of HUGE numbers of Japanese servicemen and civilians. Also, sending a bunch of 18 year old kids to charge a machine gun nest with swords is not honorable, it's fucking stupid.

The only successful Japanese offensive on the US Mainland involved killing five children and a woman with an explosive hot air balloon.

On a final note, the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were totally justified. The Japanese leadership knew the war was lost ever since midway, yet they refused to surrender. By the summer of 1945, more than 20 million people were dead as a result of the war, and everyone on the planet aside from Japan was ready for the war to be over. Rather than waste the lives of hundreds of thousands of US servicemen, we gave them an ultimatum to surrender or be annihilated, along with their civilian populace. The deaths are on their heads.
If you start a war with an act of aggression and refuse to surrender when you've been beaten, then "better you than us".

Also, the American reconstruction was the best thing that ever happened to Japan.

Tons of countries believe that Christ was somehow related to their country. Mormons believe he showed up in the US. Chinese used to believe that some guy back in the 1800's was the brother of Christ. The Japanese think he didn't die and instead became a rice farmer.

Not that surprising.
