Bump. Guy working on the patch here.

Since the partial got cross posted already, I'll extend my call for help to /jp/.

I need a translator. There isn't even much do to. This is all that needs to be done, then there's a few words in the other images that are missing that we can't find in-game to get context. The only other thing needed is a translation check on the skill names and description, since they were just lifted from the wiki, but should be close enough.

And the other guy working on this here.

We don't know where the hell the attached image actually appears, but a translation wouldn't hurt.

We're not having much luck getting a translation on Pooshlmer. I know /jp/ isn't /jp/ - Translations, but having this finished before next week starts would be nice. ed00.png and icon07.png are the only things holding us back.

>> No.2081657

So what teams are people running in this?
I am personally a fan of:
China - Frontline fighter
Tewi - Buffer/Support fighter
Eirin - Heals/Instakills
Reisen - Confuse/AoE damage
Yuyuko - AoE/Possess/Kill
China tanks everything, Tewi buffs everyone else's luck to trigger their stuff which leads to some ridiculous stuff. Yuyuko mind controls enemies and Eirin heals them.
Any other cool team ideas?

Reisen or Sakuya only teams are enough to finish the game in any difficulty or mode.

I'm the guy who translated the opening text.
Pachouli had finally finished defending the library.
Scarlet Devil Mansion had become plastered with mud
from the immense number of shattered dolls,
Fortunately Remilia had been out so
there probably won't be a problem after having the maids clean it up.
But the battle is not yet over.
Realizing as long as she's confined within the library
the closing curtain won't drop on the incident, Patchouli had at last rose from her chair.
Pachouli's battle is but beginning.

Who the hell would she be sending this order to.
Patchouli, using the dolls she had created now stands to defend the mansions last stronghold - the library.

I'm pretty sure that this protection is certain. What.

>Patchouli was sure that the library's protection was certain...
It's not certain any more because someone else is also able to make the dolls.

>>However, someone had stolen the manufacturing details.
Sounds a bit better than 'manufacturing process', which would imply stealing everything required to make the dolls.

No no no no, you don't understand. I'm telling you what's wrong, not giving you advice. You want me to hold your hand and tell you the right answer? Good lord, English isn't that hard, you're using it right now. If you don't know how it's phrased in English then get an editor. You honestly have no idea what you're talking about. So please don't bother wasting time, just get someone who understands English.

>Unable to bear Marisa's frequent raids,
>Patchouli Knowledge was determined to strengthen her library's defences.
Makes perfect sense. '... strengthen the library's...' might work a little better.

>Patchouli was sure that the library's protection was certain...
Patchouli was certain about the library's protection...

>However, someone had stolen the manufacturing details.
>Wiki: Except someone had stolen the clay doll manufacturing process
In the context of the entire passage "stolen the manufacturing details" still makes perfect sense.

>> No.2083112

>Makes perfect sense
You're quite fucking retarded. Oh wait, it looks like you understand what was wrong by then correcting it afterwards. Way to make yourself look stupid.
>Patchouli was certain about the library's protection...
You don't understand how to use narrative tone. You don't understand foreshadowing between words. You should stop trying to correct something when you can't write properly.
>In the context of the entire passage "stolen the manufacturing details" still makes perfect sense.
You retarded fucker, it's not about making sense, it's about writing it right.
>It's almost as if you're taking each sentence individually, without thinking about any of the context beforehand.
1. A sentence has to flow with a passage, BUT BEFORE THAT IT HAS TO MAKE SENSE WITHIN ITSELF.
2. You're taking them without liberties. You are just pounding out English coherent sentences from bad Japanese translations.
3. They don't make sense in English because they aren't terms that are used in English to start. Just because the text says "back of the stomach" doesn't make it right to use "back of the stomach" in English. Think before you fail harder.
Now to...
>If you want to contribute or help, do it properly. There's no need to be pretentious.
I wrote both the translations to the beginning and end. Now shut the fuck up worthless nigger :)

Quit bickering, I'm making the patch. I'm not making another one unless someone does a serious check of all the translations (which is seriously not that much). If you want to do that, then go ahead, but I'm not going to bother with any nitpicking on just one thing.

Oh. Yeah. That's what it needs, since it very likely doesn't have a translation. Everything except the ed was taken from the wiki or from in-game context, and I'm guessing the descriptions for the skills/spells/units are just English descriptions and not actual translations.
