It is stated that Reimu has nothing to do most of the time in game and in official material, other characters also do not seek conflict constantly apart from the usual incidents. That's because most of the fans are losers. There are two types of otaku. An otaku that grew up watching shonen shows like DBZ and Gundam. Then there's the otaku that grew up watching weeaboo shows like Sailormoon and Tenchi. The shonen otakus are much more casual and they sometimes have a life outside of anime. The harem oakus on the other hand don't have a life, so they watch shitty slice of life shows and fap to magical girl animu (they're no better than the losers that watch reality shows).

If ZUN wanted tea sipping there would be a lot more cinemas in Touhou. Shoot the bullet for example didn't even have any talking in it. Some times in the Touhou games the characters just start fighting with out even saying anything.

It's not about what you started out with, it's what you favored the most. I don't think there's any otaku on the planet that watched only one genre. In before Captain Obvious.

If you prefer harem and/or shoujo nowadays, then you were never a true fan of shonen. Once a shonen, always a shonen. Even if you're watching or reading one of the deepest plots like Xenosaga/Xenogears you'll secretly want some fighting and/or action.

Did Touhou 8 have tea drinking, because if it did, I must have missed it. Sorry, but ZUN apparently doesn't care about that stuff.

You use the most ridiculous assumptions to back up your argument even though you know it doesn't hold a candle to the facts. When you beat the game in Touhou the game ends. There are no tea sipping that occurs once the exe stops. Who's to say the characters don't have sex once you beat the game? Who's to say Reimu doesn't go and take a huge dump after the game ends? If were going off into the hypothetical, then who's to say there isn't more fighting once the game ends. Case and point, Touhou 7.5. When people played Touhou 7 and 8, they assumed nothing happened between that timezone. Oh, and 7.5 just happens to be a *fighting* game. Who's to say there isn't a Touhou 7.6 where there was more fighting.
