The cooldown reduction alone is amazing. Stack her near Totono / Diera, or any ramp up unit.

Speaking of the stream, I wish they previewed more of the newer characters rather than alt versions and blooms. The "which flower is this girl" discussions were neat, there were a couple like Abutilon and Ixia that fooled everyone.

Been slowly doing the DMM Dailies for Game Points and got enough for the 960 point roll. The 20 Medals + 20 Shards is pretty good compared to the 480 weekly one. The Free Daily got me 10 Silver and an extra Wax Tree.

Only thing I am disappointed by is the lack of more cheap D-tickets. Guess I'll have to start buying the 100 D Medal ones.

I dunno. It might be worse than the mobile release campaign, but with the addition of the second reward track it's about on the same level as last year, with the extremely notable exception of the discounted gacha (and the just-as-notable addition of the 11-rolls every day). Granted the standard 50-gem gacha with double rates is probably better than a simple discount nowadays, but I don't know. The doubled rates have left a really weird taste in my mouth regarding the game ever since it was introduced.

On paper the doubled rates seem great and they definitely feel a hell of a lot better than the standard. The equipment flowers for new units that you can buy with gems are great too, especially for rainbows. But it's raised the opportunity cost through the roof to the point that it's very hard to justify pulling from any other pool, especially since if a new unit comes out that you really like and you fail to pull her the first time she's featured, you permanently miss the equipment flowers and have to deal with the standard rates the second time around. Finally there's also the fact that the reprint/feature gachas for old units have a 0% chance of giving you any unit other than the ones featured on the gacha, which might sound great because of the higher chance for pulling the featured units, but it's still lower than the standard chance with doubled rates, and it also means that the 30-gem rarity growth gachas are now significantly less useful for new players or for sharking old 5-stars that aren't being featured.

I do like all the new additions to the game and I personally like this anniversary more than the third now that the second reward track has come out just because of the free 11-rolls every day for two weeks. But as someone who used to spend gems habitually whenever I amassed enough to pull from the gacha, it's weird to feel like I'm doing it wrong if I have less than 500(00) gems on my account at any time that I reserve solely for the new characters gacha, ignoring everything else except maybe the 30-gem gacha if there's a character I want in it.

She's still an alright get out of jail free card, you can let her go to town on some unlucky swarm and retreat her when the wave is over/you no longer need a stopgap measure. Her passive is moderately helpful if you want to tank Phenex or something, but she suffers because she tries to be Palfy and Jessica at once and succeeds at neither. Her SAW really needs a buff, Sylseth's SAW is much better at what she should be doing. At least she won't die to a stiff breeze and can block some fry while on-skill, but that's cold comfort in today's DPS or die environment.

Azrael Sophie has scary DPS and can mow down everything in rush maps, she can also duel midbosses while shredding lackeys on the side. Not very good for hardcore tanking but she'll handle swarms just fine in Vepar, Shuten, Barbatos, possibly one of the off lanes in Gusion (but watch out because this is the "fuck everything that blocks" majin after all) and so on. Instant 60 MR with no strings attached isn't half bad either.

Sybilla really is a boneless but no less boner-inducing Ingrid, powercreep hasn't been kind on her. But a bootleg Ingrid is not a bad thing to have, her attack speed is high enough that her modest on-skill attack actually stings, and she synergizes well with Sarah and Ingrid herself if you have them. She also had lots of unrelated mechanics tacked on to her kit, to the point that she rivals Tenma in the "least coherent unit" rankings. Maybe she'll get to use that angel passive after Prince invades heaven, or the long-awaited Princess AW2 will be kind on her.

Matsuri has her passive going for her, and that's it. I've seen her used in some majin for her relatively strong SAW, so that she can both provide cost support and kill off some stragglers while your Altair/Totono/Diera builds UP. She really needs a global attack buff tacked to her skill, though.

Heartwarming stories, unique characters each with their own charm, good H-scenes (as long as you don't mind the vanilla), relative lack of paywalls (unless you really want those limited panels to decorate your home screen), and doesn't demand too much of your time.
Personally, this game has become my new favorite after the now-deceased Nuresuke Paradise, and it doesn't really seem a coincidence that both games have been praised for being excellent sidegames.
That said, the game isn't really for everyone in my opinion. You can quickly get bored if you're not interested in the story, because of its somewhat boring gameplay. The game doesn't do very hot in the rankings too, but I generally prefer to ignore that. (Hell, Nuresuke Paradise used to stay at the bottom all the time, except that one week when the pure off-limits navigator-ish character got her H-scene all of a sudden, shooting it up into top 3 in smartphone rankings. Your personal rankings don't have to match up with what the page shows you, is what I want to say.)

Anyways, tl;dr is: give it a try to see if you like it. It's fun for me, you might find it fun as well.

Luna I get. I don't want to say she's generic, but she feels like... safe enough? And Japan tends to be all over that, while western fanbases generally like the girls that are more unique or less perfect. That's honestly why I'm kind of surprised Dee is showing up a lot. I didn't really expect her to be in the generic Japanese strike zone, but it seems like she might be if her presence is any indication.

I'll agree on those points about Artwhirl. There's a LOT of character story sitting around waiting to be seen. Like a lot lot. And it's all voiced. I also like a lot of the little things they do like character skits for new events or limited gachas, or the ones they do after events where they name the top 10 rankers for the events and show off their boards. If a board is character-themed, they even get that character to talk about it. That's super cool. (I'm also glad ranking is basically only used for that and not to distribute event rewards. Ranking events in these games are always terrible.)

It comes recommended from me too, if someone's looking for a little something extra to play. You can stockpile "stamina" and event "stamina" and I haven't seen a cap yet, so it's super casual and definitely something you're encouraged to play on your own time (within time limits for events, at least).

I think you described the game in a better way than I ever could.
All this love and care the devs put into it ironically make me fear for its future.
I just hope they release some sort of offline compilation when the game inevitably closes down sometime down the line. It'd be sad to see such an excellent work go to waste.
