I dont really understand, why priconne, a game with autobattle everywhere, punish players for using autobattle? I mean, this fucking 1-2 seconds delay on skill use on auto literally kills you, if you are not overleveled\geared, compared to opponent.
When i play game on auto, that means i cant or dont want to pay attention to the game at this moment. And japs fucks you for that, idk why.

Bur this is how literally every single game ever works? The AI is retarded and is never a replacement for a real player so if you want to do actually hard stages then you turn off auto and actually play the game. Auto is always for mindless farming or that stage you need to run 1000 times.

Also, if you're busy and can't or don't want to pay attention to the game then why did you go and start up the game? Not even a random stage to burn AP, started a hard stage you're not strong enough to reliably clear and expected the AI to do the work for you.

In this game, if you do that in middle of, for example, pvp match - you are done for, because enemy dosnt have delay on skills and going to use them faster, than you.

Literally first mobage, where i have this complain. In other games AI just have pattern, which you can learn and build team\character around it, to minimize damage from using auto. But in priconne difference in mechanics itself, your AI have skill delay, against AI without any.

Is the arena matchmaking in Compass based on any sort of ranking or does it just put people together based on nothing? Feels like it's impossible to win in that mode because people just seem to fucking read you like a book and are better in pretty much every way. Ranked feels more even in that regard but it's super rare to get a game without someone having super high card levels and them soloing your team with you having absolutely no chance.

HPuddi and SKokko are perfectly fine at 4* while Speco and Hshinobu are arena gods that can be improved further but you'd have to know what you're doing and be willing to invest all those frags towards arena suffering instead of bossing.

Anyone that's still playing Alternative Girls, how do you actually get good at this game? Is it just a matter of getting all rainbow subs and all rainbow stamps or some synergies are important for virtual towers and the AL looking map expedition thing (i.e. brute force is not good)?

On top of the new shop updates from last month, I'm not sure if they're trying to give their whales more stuff or try to incentivize more. At least they dropped any pretense that there's any difficulty in copying outfits between girls but the difference between f2p and whaling is getting pretty obvious.

Everything: Double Mega Rise, speed SSR seals.
Tower: There's tricks to some of the later ones, as they tend to start the same but you have to be able to murder quickly and do your hardest hitting skill on whoever is shown as the boss.
Boss breaking: Slow and haste for when it's down, try to save all of your hard hitting shit for these phases
Daria/Lily shit: Def up or barrier, crit buff is almost mandatory
Expedition crap: healers and stats - auto is going to waste your skills and send your attack-all team to bosses. 1 good team is probably better than two mediocre ones.

To reach A-class in tower, you pretty much have to be on top of powercreep. I've been stuck in B1 for most of the year because I can't get any of the most recent powercreep like element buffing or attack stacking. Most of my teams are sitting around 18k.

It boosts both Speed and Attack for 3 turns, with a cooldown of 6. So with two at max skill, there is no downtime for the buff, maybe a turn depending on how turns come up.

Everyone here has it but there are more recent ones that I don't have like Anniversary Miyaka. Hestia Shion has it in her skill and was the first one to start this mess. Some others are like her, like Anniversary Chiho, but hers is only 2 turns. So for example, I always take one of these Shion, then for tower I add Miyuki or Nono if elements aren't ass or I don't have to use one of their other cards.

Grimm Notes anime was alright. Did a good job showing what MC's group does rather than just infodumping everything. Reina and Shane were as cute as always and surprisingly MC is maining Alice. Perfect, time to reinstall the game. Is it any easier to max out your girls now? The game used to be pretty comfy in terms of powercreep but then I found myself in a shironeko situation where they decided to hit the powercreep hard but also give you many chances to roll.
That and I was getting like 5 new girls in the time it would take me to max one so it was pretty frustrating not being able to max anyone unlike in Shironeko where I can max someone as soon as I get them and the only real big investment is deciding if I want Helio/Gigas/Magna for them.

Only issue still should be skill level. If you have problems with limit breaking and leveling to max, then you have brain damage. Especially since they ran events recently that gave a bunch of mats and keys are easy to get from events.

There's 6 petite cookies in event exchange now and getting the real skill cookie isn't as difficult as before but they're still limited. If you're rolling gacha, you can exchange for skill stones for the featured 4-stars or trade for skill cookies because you weren't going to roll those 4-stars anyway.

There should still be a bunch of free rolls to do up still. As many rolls as your luck will allow. Kind of a weird dichotomy with this game. Tons of free rolls and stock gacha to pick something, but fuck you if you're trying to use quartz to roll anyone limited.

Oh, and your favorite weasel took over the shop, with a 10-roll similar to pvp gacha but for materials and you can exchange for items or buy skill stones with quartz.

Obviously I was talking about skill levels, why would normal levels ever be a problem to anyone? I wanted to be strong but then I needed a bazillion cookies to be strong and by the time I got enough cookies to toss on someone there was already something better to toss cookies to.

Felt kind of shitty having all these characters to use but you can only really invest on X amount of characters. The problem was exclusive to 4*'s at least, never found any issues trying to max any 3*'s.

Gacha for outfits coming back into normal gacha now have chance item lists full of cookies or miracle tickets. This is pretty much the lineup for miracle tickets, for their respective gacha.

A lot of 4-stars don't deserve cookies. If you want max level for every single unique one, then you're entering whale territory or bitching about having good luck in a game you don't play. As you can see, I have a nice stockpile of cookies. Used to be 30-some but I managed to get Dancer Nono from some free rolls yesterday. If I somehow had the problem of rolling a bunch of cards from limited or the reoccurring sets, then maybe I would have skill-up issues.

No need to be rude, I haven't really played in nearly a year so I'm not sure on the state of the game right now and wanted to check on what was the status of things. I did really like the game and ended up dropping it for different reasons that werent related to the game itself, I just had to stop playing for months and I had lost interest to catch up to what I missed when I was finally able to play again but a playable Daria definitely gives me that motivation I needed to actually bother doing things on it again.

Yes, they count for one skillup for that specific card.

They're always updating. The only other recent thing that comes to mind is a new storage area for cards, which I use for limited or event 2* that I like but were hogging up space. Oh and the room you can decorate and do tasks for girls which still don't mean anything. Make it look nice or just set it up for research and some stuff you can get daily.

It's shit, plain and simple. It's a copy paste of a previous Pokelabo game only they incorporated different CGs and got Yoko Taro to make the rough overarching story. The music is good and the CGs are pretty but the gameplay itself is just absolute trash. The rates are shit too. That's one of the reasons why I have no idea how it became so popular given the abysmal start. It was given a release date and it was super overhyped and, lo and behold, intern-kun running the servers straight up couldn't handle the pressure. It was at least 2 weeks before the game was even 'playable' and even then it was super unstable. Former player here. To add on to the previous replies, the power creep has made things worse. At this point you need a power level of ≈200,000+ or thereabouts to get anywhere near the top-tier guilds, most if not all of whom consist of Japanese and/or gaijin who have near-native fluency (on JP). There are very few, if any, EN-only guilds left on the JP server. Sure, you can survive in a middle-tier guild, but given how much some rewards are tied to PvP/Colo, you want to try and work towards that.

You're not getting anywhere near there without enough rolls to get SS->L weapons (which you need to evolve, which, surprise surprise, require plenty of mats as well), as well as raising job levels and limit breaking them to unlock more stats to grind for. Furthermore, most limit breaks on jobs either require you to roll the gacha to get enough coins to purchase them, or require insane grinding during events.

Speaking of events, you're constantly flooded with a ton of events, with just barely enough time to grind for them to get the rewards tagged to farming medals of one kind or another. (There are other non-farming events, or at least events that don't need to be farmed as much, but they like these short-run farming events because they can milk the player based for more $$, as elaborated upon below.) Moreover, many events are tied to guild-wide participation, so good luck if your guild isn't very active. On top of that, grinding medals is a massive grind unless you happen to get lucky and get the few SS weapons that provide you with a 1.X bonus to medals earned on event maps. So make sure you buy enough gems to roll for that!

There are also some armour farming events - you need the armour for bonuses against some raid bosses, and it's significantly better than story armour, but the drops aren't guaranteed (and have varying bonuses by weapon class). So good luck there. (They also seem to like giving these ridiculously short expiry dates to farm, like ~5 days.)

Regarding the game's health, as other replies have already noted, it seems to be doing surprisingly well in JP despite the trash gacha rates. If I had to guess, I'd say Yoko's unexpected success with Nier has given his name branding a huge boost, and the story being as dark and edgy as one might expect with Yoko helps. But as mentioned above, there are very little to no players / guilds left purely for EN players, and it's probably going to be hard to set up one on your own and do decently enough to reap decent rewards.

As for server stability, the servers have managed to stabilise since launch, and the game runs reasonably well. Still a resource hog though, drains battery life like no tomorrow, and tends to slow down the longer it runs. Gameplay-wise, it's surprisingly fun in Co-Op with good players on your friends list, although having said that having good Co-Op partners is pretty much mandatory for raids and Hard Mode maps. Which really leads to a chicken-and-egg problem where the near-top component of players are all friends with each other to clear faster, and their friends lists are probably full (there's two separate caps on how many people can add you, and how many people you have added yourself).

TL;DR don't install this game. If you started at launch and reaped enough rewards (and spent enough cash) you're probably still at least middle-tier enough to dive back in, but if you're thinking of starting from scratch? Haha, no. Maybe things will be better in the EN/TW-HK versions, but still too early to tell for those. The few veteran players who remain are mostly going to stick to JP anyway, given how much they've invested in it.

This is about as far as my guild got before we collectively burned out and called it quits. Some still play, but they've mostly joined other JP guilds. PvP / Colo is fun in its own way, but understanding the Nightmare / weapon meta is important and there's a noticeable input lag when playing from anywhere outside of Japan.

For AL and GFL, depending on your luck, you may very well need to resort to real money when the 'gacha' of construction fails you. GFL rates are garbage and the pools in AL, even with rate ups, can be super fucking aids. I've seen people blow over half a thousand cubes and go without a rate up SSR (Mikasa Anon back in the day being a good example back when I actually browsed /alg/) and even with hundreds of craft tickets and hundreds of thousands of resources stockpiled I've seen people easily miss new/rate up guns in GFL.

KC is a different beast in that you can't really craft anything past a certain point (since you'll have all standard botes and LSC shouldn't take long to snag the handful of useful botes) but on the flip side the events you need to farm are getting more cancerous as time goes on and I've seen a lot of people having to resort to buying resources just to actually obtain everything and/or manage to clear the event. Yes, even people with 300k saved up. Shit drains fast if you're combined fleet spamming.

Combat is close, except it's a Chinese game so the damage numbers are a bit inflated later on. Past adaptations were so bad that I think this one did somewhat okay.

There's also auto battle and fatigue system (5 hrs/day). We're all bots now.

Well there's a difference between a game that offers you a random chance at something, purely with ingame currency or assets, and a game that offers you a random chance at something but then also offers you ways to circumvent this process too with cash shop faggotry. While games like KC/AL/GFL are certainly some of the more "kinder" games, probably because of their 'collection' nature, it still doesn't change the fact that they can and will punish your shitty luck and you may need to resort to cash purchases if you can't handle not obtaining something, especially with limited time runs like Elphelt/Noel in GFL or the Neptunia or Under Water Ray Romano botes in Azur Lane.

You don't want something that's "very similar to traditional mmo". The idea of taking something that's been done and porting that to a different environment is a bad idea. See countless shitty mobile games that fail to see the potential of the platform and instead treat it as just another small, less powerful console, shitty motion control games that just replace the cursor with a pointer and include some waggle or shitty VR games that just tie camera movement to the headset and teleport you around.

As someone with everything and a day 1 player - don't let the rarity lie to you. SSRs are nothing. Rs and SRs are the true pain. Especially if you are missing a non-rate up SR/R, you will be rolling forever. It took me near enough a year to get my Ning Hai.

You aren't forced to, many people sit on 100 slots and just use the most powerful shit instead of actually collecting. AL and GFL have freebies so you can easily get your vital base upgrades along with some slot increases without spending a penny.

Then you're forced to be stuck in a loop of re-farming and re-leveling whatever obscure ship is needed for newest quest instead. Unless you're content with letting them sit there forever. I imagine events are all the more hell without readily available roster of all those historical ships that may be needed for routing too, if you ever want to try higher difficulties. But I'd say you can play long enough to decide if you like the game enough to buy slots.

It's more similar than not. I haven't touched RO in awhile but I was surprised by how close the experience to the original it was. They made it more streamlined for mobile play and mobage concessions but I'm enjoying it quite a bit so far.

Dunno if it's common knowledge already but Sharehouse Eddy's 1000% damage modifier on his DA immune move can be increased by buff duration weapons and accessories. So if you have Rebecca's motif for the +25 second buff duration he actually becomes a pretty good boss killer.
