Huh, I started Romanesque too sometime ago.
It's nice, but does it have a plot of some kind?

It doesn't seem like anything of importance has happened in the first 11 months, except for the conspicuous amount of females wandering into the tower(my favorite being somewhere between Aria and Fianna).

As am I. I didnt finish it my first time around and stopped after finishing Tsugumi's route and went mid-way into Sora's....

I completely understand why I never finished it either. It's really slow and repetitive and even goes as far as to throw a bunch of techno babble that could be summed up in four sentances maybe.

I finished Takeshi's routes and am midway into Kid's and...Jesus. I can't wait to get to that final route. As I can tell the VN does a pretty good job with the end game

Mid and early though....Not so much. Mid does introduce some mysteries worth pondering about though.

After this I guess it's Alternative, Forest or Campanella. My japanese's not perfect yet so I am somewhat reluctant to tackle the masterpieces.

Hourglass of Summer is pretty alright. The only problem was the DVD format. I remember finishing the Kaho and Tomomi route and was going for either Ligene or Mana next. Tomomi was very VERY cute in regular clothes.

My HD actually killed itself while I was playing Seinarukana. All those screenshots of Nanashi saying hentai phrases during chapter 11 of Narukana route are now gone. ;_;

I used a combination of VLC and PowerDVD. VLC can skip chapters really fast, which makes it great for replays, but PowerDVD is the only thing you can use passwords with. Along with that powerDVD saves the spot you were reading at when you close the game (unless the game crashes) which makes it convenient when you turn off the game.

I use PowerDvD. I also saved all my passwords along the way, and bookmarked before a few crucial choices so I don't NEED fastforward.

Format's still fucked up though.

Also, I think Ein is the Aeka of PoI. I can't pursue other girls now.

I felt the same way. I really did like cal, but I thought Ein was just a much better match for Reiji. Claudia's end was awesome though (only the one you kill her in) for the action movie-esque finale and ending, plus it was awesome to finally see Ein and Reiji have a serious fight with each other, though I didn't really like Claudia as a character.

The japanese bitch was boring and her ending was forgetful.

I'll probably start Tsukihime later tonight (yeah, I'm a bit slow with that). I recently re-read Planetarian and Clannad. I was also considering giving LB a shot with AGTH/Atlas, but I've never tried machine translations before. How well does it work out?
