Just playing around with them inntraining mode can give insight to their abilities and such if you look at it literally.

Futaba warehouse is still around but you probably need a proxy/vpn to access it outside Japan, at least I get 403 forbidden when try without. Should be the best source of images for characters originating from futaba. Lots of images from there should be good enough to be uploaded to western boorus. Don't mind of course if now others start doing that, myself have been lazy to upload.
Also, the main page of the site mentions to share it quietly, one reason for that would of course be uncensored images which you can find plenty of, that's also why haven't uploaded much yet since they don't want to get much attention, so even if boorus prefer source to be added maybe would be better to not put one if image is from futaba channel or nijibox or the warehouse but I dunno. Feel guilty though when lots of good images can't find with saucenao or iqdb or google.

Search for "nijiura warehouse" instead with quotes, one danbooru wiki has the link. It can be found here too http://nijibox.ohflip.com/futalog/ that site I try to browse at least 2 times a day since shortest files last only 10 hours, lets you easily browse files that futaba users upload, most filenames are posted in threads of img board (unlisted on 2chan main page) since on that board only the opening post allows an image. Often if I see good art posted on nijibox then I search the filename on an archive site to try to find and read the thread for fun. Easy though to catch threads live too, mostly it's around midnight when artists post art on img, usually OP is sample image and in thread they post filenames that they uploaded to nijibox. Several other useful archive links also on nijibox. Even if miss a limited time available file/image, there's a good chance archive of the thread will exist somewhere, some archive sites also save the offsite uploads within the archived thread, not the 48 hour ones though, probably because those can be password protected and big file size. Around at the end of the year summary zip files some artists post too, if filename starts with MATOME, then it was uploaded to the warehouse. It's nice that some archives use a tag system which makes finding things way easier.

I found this on gelbooru and it seems to depict a certain era of the internet. I'd probably say 2003 just based on "2003 server" in the character tags section, or rather the established culture around that time.
Kudoi is tagged and in the 10th row, 5th column with a few other maids. Yakui however, is not listed nor shown in a quick scan through the image.

What drugs is Yakui typically on? My guess, what with her being a licensed medical expert and judging by her expression, would be some sort of opiate. But I'd also wager some sort of dissociative like ketamine as well since she's often on the floor in a contracted posture. Honestly though, she's incredibly cute. Sorry to bring it up again but I don't know if it's nostalga but Yuzu's personality makes Shinrai an absolute killer.

If you want them to have adjective names like the maids all do, then a lot of English adjectives also end with an -i sound. Happy, crappy, sappy, sleepy, the rest of the Disney 7 dwarf names excluding Doc, etc. You also need to step forward and create them instead of waiting fo others. A lot of memes are propagated by one person until they catch on.

/jp/ has a lot of characters actually, Meido, Mugen's 2D avatar, NSJ, Cornelia, a few other characters that tried to be promoted by their creators like OC tan but are mostly forgotten. There was a time when 4chan had a mass of characters comparable to >>20581392. I sort of miss those times.

Meido is Meido but is made fun of when appearing on /jp/ in cat form. It really plays into the shitpost that is deleted.
Meido shows up, an anon posts a thread and Meido comes back to delete the thread once notified of its existence. When it comes to /jp/ history with meido being a laze, it can be the "careless" trope, especially with the /jp/ vs. Administration eras and the "Meido just woke up" posting that signifies a huge timegap in posts (upwards of a few 20 missing threads) at a random time.

They're mostly wordplay that took on a life of their own. They came from Futaba's Nijiura boards, 2chan's meta-equivalent of /b/. They're each a sort of pun giving an appearance and character and then jokes are structured around them and their personalities.
Yakui is most famous and popular on english speaking boards because of 420chan.

Yamashii seems like the semi-unfortunate type. I guess Yakui is the last person she wants to be around just because she deals heavily with drugs.
I'll try to keep autism to a minimum but she seems like the type that would try her best to stay out of trouble but causes some herself from my point of view. She's got the stunning looks so eyes naturally gravitate towards her which doesn't really help her case.
