I never said I viewed them as "stupid whores" nor do I feel I somehow implied that. It's just the story of people trying to make it and the system around them taking advantage of them, I've tried to get into the modern Idol part Japanese music but there just seems to be this really ugly side that keeps popping up wherever I look, so yeah I actually don't tend to look "their way" anymore.
But like I said, I feel SG is different and a more "wholesome" way of looking into modern Japanese pop culture, the only thing that might make me a bit sad with them is the nendo graduations and that's it. They focus on building the girls up and make them confident in expressing their individual personalities and not just do maid burikko/moe/waifu shit 24/7. It just feels a lot more healthier and positive and gives a bit of hope in general that Japan might be loosening it's choke hold on the next generation.
