At first, people thought Sumipe's boyfriend threw in words that college students might find "intellectual", but it's not how words are used in academia. At the same time, some intellectuals are interested in shamanic images.The song does have shamanic images.

It makes sense if "watashi" in the lyrics represents the Ayahuasca deity and whatnot.
This is not a love song. "Watashi and kimi" are both in the head.
