What does /jp/ think of Ali Project?
I have all that /rs/ could give me.
Are there any other albums?

What DOESN'T /jp/ think of Ali Project!

I come from /a/ and whenever I mention Ali Project, those faggots brand me as a troll.
I hope /jp/ to be more mature.

Exactly!

That they're good?

>> No.2041239

Sounds the same.

>> No.2041244

I prefer Yousei Teikoku.

>> No.2041248

all their music is the same but the early stuff which is shit

>> No.2041250

All of their songs sound exactly the same.

>> No.2041251

I like their Rozen Maiden songs

>> No.2041263

>>2041251
kukui's Rozen Maiden songs are better, though.

>> No.2041328

I generally like it; hearing the Rozen Maiden openings on Stepmania was what got me to finally give the series a try. Although their songs sound similar, at least it's distinctive: When I heard the IOSYS Touhou parodies I immediately recognized that they were spoofing Ali Project.

I loved all the music in Rozen Maiden, vocal or bgm. And I like Ali Project as well.

Ali Project is kind of unique in that I totally love some of their songs, but think that some of their other songs are total crap.

Can anyone provide a site to download their albums?

>> No.2043849

I used to find most of their (early) stuff irritating--especially How to Make Angel Eggs. But for some reason their Rozen Maiden songs were OK. Since then I've felt indifferent toward their work (like the ED from Code Geass).

I got into them because of the Mai-Hime VN's OP.

Terrible, terrible band.
Not even their Noir and Rozen Maiden OPs can redeem the shit they're churning out now.

>> No.2043959

ali project is the singer version of ALL ROOK SAME

>> No.2043978

>>2043951
>Noir
Isn't that curious. ALI Project sang the OP, and Yuki Kajiura composed the music. An intersection of two of most notorious "all sound the same" artists.

>> No.2043979

they had a few decent non-same music, but clearly not enough

>> No.2043991

>>2043951
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man

>> No.2044007

better than that IOSYS XD crap most of /jp/ listens to, but still overall terrible

>> No.2044016

>>2044007
The first few IOSYS albums are better than the newer stuff if you ask me

>> No.2044274

>>2044007
I understand where you're coming from and agree that a lot of /jp/ has a high tolerence for terrible music. I know, since I'm one of them. Even when songs are sung off key because a person isn't that great a singer has it's charms, i think. But singing off key and off tempo for no bloody reason is not my cup of tea.
I suppose someone out there might forgive Alipro for having that habit and for their whiny vocals, but I'm not one of them/.

>> No.2044339

I downloaded the code geass ending single, it has pretty good songs.

>> No.2044361

I have one of their albums along with the Rozen Maiden songs they did. It's kind of bad, but when I'm drunk I enjoy it a lot.

>> No.2044364

I think they're pretty awesome. They're up there with Malice Mizer when it comes to creativity for me.

>> No.2044758

The music itself is good, but the singer is absolute shit. I heard an instrumental album, and it was a thousand times better than anything with the singer in it.

>> No.2044804

As bad as death metal.

>> No.2044853

Enjoy your same song played over and over again.
