Kyuubi and Leora/Leona are the best of the bunch. Wurm is okay for cheesing, and Elmira is pretty good now with AW2. Elias used to be a big numbers healer, but everyone has Rinne now so it doesn't matter. Roza is a fairly reliable assassin. The rest are pretty meh.

She's the queen of whiffing and will casually ignore greater demons to slice a poor imp into atoms if you go with her SAW. But her ability is top-notch and her damage is peerless if you can find situations where a boss is alone with no chaff to distract her.

Other imperials are also with her in the "not super broken, but not awful either" bracket. Angeline's attack reduction is handy in nearly every situation, letting you hit major thresholds like "hey, I can tank Shuten 15 with Elyse + non-2AW Mireille now" (personal example, but you're sure to have your own stories if you use her regularly), and her 1-block means that she can selectively tank a superboss without having other trash wail on her. Aurora's MR bonus fluctuates between useless and game-breaking depending on the map, while her healing tries to strike the midpoint between Elyse and Rinne but lands her squarely in the "neither fish nor fowl" category. Diana does respectable ranged physical damage with her SAW, but she doesn't know whether she wants to be offensive or defensive, current meta rewards burst units over her relatively modest sustained damage, and her regular skill is completely at odds with her enormous cost (that skill really needed to go to Marika).

Post-AW2 Elmira is one of the upper-tier imperial blacks due to her shootiness, you can never go wrong with AoE triple shot at 390 range. Kyuubi likewise hits some impressive numbers if allowed to ramp up, she only demands a rearguard and that's not asking much since rearguards have a good case for being the best class in the game. Mephisto is paradoxically both awful and at the cusp of greatness, she'd go from terrible to great if they made her SAW ranged for real (160 might as well be point blank in this day and age, should be doubled at least) and introduced some non-Lapis demons/orcs/goblins worth caring about. Wurm is good for one thing and one thing only, and Leona kind of steps on her toes even then, but that niche is good enough to warrant a teamslot in most cases and nothing prevents you from chaining both skills for 25 seconds of nigh-invincibility.

Imperials also suffer from the lack of ranged DPS blacks in general, which doesn't really help their case because ranged DPS easily represents the strongest units in the game.

I had my suspicions but I think they're about confirming the staff for KamiPro is actually really fucking tiny, and the writing staff even more so, given how their stated reason for slowing down on content updates is because the game's dying to catch up and implement already new awakenings, raids, and the fabled extra episodes.

I hope they don't use this as an excuse to cheapen out on end of the year goods, and don't just go "well, all you're getting for this year's christmas is a feature we teased all the way back in the FIRST anniversary's stream" because that'd end the year on a really sour note.
Also, is it just me or have there been more wind events (and thus fire gacha additions) lately? Feels like it's been a while since Thunder or Water got anything new, but my memory's kinda fuzzy. Wind I'm sure got something around this time.

+30% character and +20% burst gain yeah. Saving that extra turn per FB helps with cycling Andromeda's weapon burst boosted heals. If I counted my stuff correctly, switching to Adrammelech would be around 7.4525x to 7.712x damage, but I don't really mind.

Leveling Blanche means leveling her dogs. Units with strong tokens are kind of broken when you're a beginner and you don't have to worry about deployment limit (since your units are weaker than her leveled dogs).
Nadia is almost black tier, though she shines in long maps once she's fully awakened, but she -along with many other of your units- are a bit cost heavy since you don't have a merchant. As such, leveling and class changing Katie would indeed be a high priority.
As for tickets, going with Moltena is perfectly ok even with Blanche, if anything they will boost each other. You probably won't fell the redundancy till much later. That said, there are other viable choices (somebody posted a make-shift tier list in the previous thread which was ok, except for the Sybilla joke). Rinne should always be the other pick if you didn't manage to get her. Waiting to use the tickets after you've rolled would probably be wise anyways.
Remember you can watch youtube videos to know what the maps are like rather than going in blind, it will help save charisma.

While this is generally true, absolutely try to get 5 stars in this urgent mission before the event ends (you have plenty of time), since that will give you a free black once the event ends. (More stars means more power ups, but you can boost your unit later through normal means.)

They always target the unit you placed last on the map so token stall while pikachu uses Thunderbolt, Sieg uses her amakakeru ryu no hirameki every 5 seconds so plan with that in mind.

Finally managed to clear everything except the 2 boss fights. Started roughly right before the Niddhoggr's first appearance so it's nice to use it as progress check for my team. The Single-Target Node is a giant pain since I have no strong Flower Knight that can do it. Resorted to brute force + RNG to clear it (with team in pic), with Rena's ability coming in handy.

Guess I should Bloom more Single-Target Knights next as I try to clear the other hard content and leave the Tutorial.

H-scenes might as well not exist. No voices. Barely see the characters outside of sprites. Music is ear cancer. Dealing with the unit limit and 4 unit max for upgrades is most of the gameplay time.
EXP grinding is a cruel joke. How does anyone have maxed characters? How many years does that take?
I can do a whole week's worth of gold/silver armor event missions and get no silver armors. Anniversary black armor with 3 fairies gave my black 7 levels. She only needs 200 more.

Please explain why you give this game any time.

Aigis is a slow start game. Your first few units to awaken/max out take an eternity but after you do then you're just buried with too much gold, fairies and armors that you can't possibly use.

I'm sitting on like 5 million gold and I keep getting more through campaigns, event and other stuff if I use some of my stash. Then there's the free black armors, plat armors and fairies so I normally have enough to max out an unit and only ever get cockblocked by running out of AW orbs.

Fair points until the exp part. It can seem rough as a new player but it get's pretty easy after the first few months. My first LoES was when things really started to speed up for me personally.

Also the only time a black armor is going to give you 7 levels is if you're not matching fairy rarity. Please tell me it was hyperbole and you aren't actually doing that

But the reason I give this game time is simply because I find it fun. As a player starting after the pity system I was also drowning in SC and getting lot's of blacks off of it which kinda helped get me hooked. The game has been less fun for me recently but I think that's partially because I have too many broken units maxed out which kinda makes things too easy.

You rack a disciprine! It sucks, but you really have to force yourself only to work on your very best/most broken girls to the exclusion of everyone else. And that's including getting a new black or something. Stopping partway through the development of someone else to work on a different girl drags things out even more. The sooner those keystone pieces are leveled, the sooner you'll be able to clear things more easily and get the most out of your stamina and allow things to snowball from there. But you're not alone. Maybe it's because I only work on a very few units that I like but I don't have much problems after some of the login bonuses from the summer and 2x weeks. I just rolled Sylvia today and got her to 80 with no issue. I could potentially do that for one more black but then awoken exp would be a bit slow. Can't awaken her yet because my dick can only get beat so much in a day.

That said, getting exp and progressing during the first ~4 months was awful, especially since my first blacks were not helpful.

Might be server side shit and the game calls home to make sure it can do whatever because of high quality Nip game design.
Otherwise, I don't really much to say about Venus Vacation. The gacha rates are shit and unlocking more characters is shit, but personally most of the Normal and Rare swimsuits are the most effective for my penis so once I got I managed to acquire the 4 or so characters I like most I've been mostly content. Definitely wouldn't spend a cent on the game though without some major changes unlike some of the other DMM games I play.

This is what was causing the s-rank reward reminder jingle to be painfully obvious when servers started to take a dump.

Anniversary rates have been kind if you're just trying to roll outfits. Getting who you want is a whole different nightmare though. I mostly got girls I don't care for, but at least nobody I outright dislike. I pretty much only use normal swimsuits to make tan lines since I have event SSRs that I managed to break for my favorites.

Mephisto is sub-par, unfortunately - while multi-target true damage is very appealing on paper, her range is so short that she has little room to put it to use. But your Elizabeth (the vampire hunter) is a standout unit and her DPS can easily compete with many blacks, especially when supplemented with a dancer. Aquamarie is one of these latter-day powercreep units that do everything under the sun, so raising her is a good idea too, though summoner mechanics take some time to get used to (they don't attack without their skills active, so you need to play with timing them). Sephire is another "can't attack without skill" unit, but angels stand in a pretty good place right now, between their enormous statlines, lightning rod potential and, in Sephire's case, strong clearing power with both her regular skill and SAW.

Other than that, you have a couple of good support units in Tyr (great answer to magic city maps that are a major roadblock for beginning players), Lateria (cheat unit against any and all godbeasts, her SAW/ability combo allows her to contribute even in beast-free maps too). Lepuru (also great for godbeasts/AFK subjugations for fast UP gain, doesn't need raising though so you can just bring her at level 1) and Sandy (solid passive buffer if you want to use her target classes), but you should only focus on them after you have an offensive backbone going. Bashira + Elizabeth + Moltena first, then add Sephire/Aquamarie to taste would be my recommendation. Katie is the gold you really want to raise (and not just because she's the cutest), Berenice is also a solid tank in a pinch but you'll probably get better tanks with time.

As for rerolling, it's up to you. Your current lineup isn't too shabby, but since the new tickets are pretty easy to get, it's a good idea to reroll a bit and see if you can't get 1-2 extra blacks from them.

Elizabeth is black tier. Margaret is almost black-tier. Aquamarine is ok. Lateria is always useful to have for her team bonus. The jester is ultra gimmicky but might be useful in the future.
Bernice is very good and basically the only tank you might ever need. As far as pauper teams go, Anemone is viable too by the way.
Everything else except Bashira is trash.

You could always try rerolling for her then. Shouldn't be too hard with the SC you start with at the moment. Imperial gacha is pretty rare (this is the second one this year) so if you want her it's probably best to do that. She's also one of the better blacks in it and actually useful for new players.

Basically in the post-healer era there's no need for normal Rinne's 100% skill uptime in most calculated situations. Assuming you have a good amount of other broken units, bride becomes better due to 100% dodge (combined with say, a merchant's/Shu's token) and her atk buff.

Fiore's trees are a bit redundant then, since druid tokens are typically used to substitute for Rinne in budget clears, but on-demand invisibility is still handy in a pinch. I'm divided on the route for Bride Rinne, since she kind of clashes with both paths (sage won't usually be in a situation where healing four different units is necessary, instructor's temporary invisibility is not very reliable, so it's essentially down to extra range vs. extra attack). Socie is slower, yeah, but she needs no ramp and hits something like 9k against favored enemies (angels/demons) with her own kit + Prince alone. She'd be nothing special if majin maps weren't full of demons, but they are, and future events are likely to bring more angels into the fray as well. As for Mireille, her AW2 was just more of the same, but she was always a premier tank so nobody complained when she doubled down on her role. I like her because you can do some hilarious things like facetanking Shuten 15 with her + Elyse, and she's also good for baiting out ranged attacks/form changes from new bosses if you aren't into watching Youtube guides first.

Generally the only really outstanding ones in the imperial gacha is Leora, the plat frontguard strategist, and Kyuubi, the black youko.

Not to say the other blacks in the imperial gacha are terrible, but they are not "incredibly powerful", and since you're going for a reroll anyway, you want the best of the best blacks like Rinne, Jinguang Shengpu and Lapis instead of something that's "significantly better than the plat counterpart but not by much" blacks.

Princess is just a class that's been left behind in general. They do magic damage, but they don't really do enough to do anything to any endgame enemies. They're also not really stellar duelists. Their stats are kind of low for the cost, which was supposed to be compensated by the magic damage in a melee slot, but it's just such an old design that it doesn't hold up in the modern game. They need a major stat overhaul and a solid pair of AW2 choices. And Sybilla should probably get her assassination back on SAW since the skill boosts are pretty small. Even after all of that, though, I don't know if she'd really move up that far.

Nothing wrong with her, she's great for all regular content. It's just that other units outcompete her in endgame stages, and she ranks low because black tier lists go from good to broken rather than bad to good.

She's good at what she does and can pull her weight in difficult content (there's even a very devoted anon here who brings her to all the majin 15 maps, which are by far the toughest challenges in the game). But the upper-rung blacks are either unparalleled in one aspect of the game (Sylvia needs no heal support and duels anything that can be dueled, Tenma and Shengpu delete an entire screen's worth of enemies every 24 seconds) or combine a number of strong perks that could define a "regular" black's kit on their own (Lapis deals unavoidable AoE damage to everything in her range in addition to bulky tokens and an attack/MR buff, Shuxian has twenty years' worth of timestops plus her own multi-target true damage, Rinne heals from absolute safety in a game that increasingly enjoys punishing ranged spots and has a couple of death prevention mechanics as kicker).

That's not really how it works here, because there is no ending. It's all about powercreep for endgame stuff like majins, divine beasts, and final story mode missions. And I do find crushing them satisfying.

What helps me is making a list. For every gacha game I play it's tedious and takes me days or even weeks of looking at character illustrations, writing down their names and sorting and ranking them - until I'm finally satisfied and don't get the feeling that I accidentally over-/underrated someone.

But once the list is done, it makes deciding on who to level much easier. Whenever I get that horny-brain love-at-first-sight feeling I just check my list compare her to my favorite girls and am like, "whoa, there are still 20 girls I'd prefer to level up. Nope, not worth it"

Started almost exactly 1 year ago and am at 19 shrine blacks as F2P.
Game is pretty nice with the new pity counter mechanic that was added when started and all the freebies and SC there was for me to collect but the supply of SC that seems to never end really starts slowing down around the half year mark and at the year mark then you're just surviving off events and giveaway because you already did most of the revivals.

My 40 anniversary rolls got me jack shit but I'm still pretty satisfied with the progress and what I got this year so I'm happy. If anyone is starting down then I'd advise them to try to get a core team going immediately or go for the units they really want early on because you'll get less and less SC as you go on and it'll be harder to do so later unless you pay up for tickets or get REALLY lucky.

overpowered units are a double edged sword.
On the one hand, online games are extremely time consuming, so speeding things up is wonderful. On the other hand it basically turns a tower defense game into an auto-battler where your optimal unit deployment tactic is the same for every single map (place your monster quartet and let them do their thing)
