TO ANYONE STRUGGLING WITH LUKA

I started fucking with her many hours ago and finally got her to work, I'll tell you how I did it:

1. Uninstall all Vocaloid shit you may have already.
2. Install in this order: Miku, Rin/Len, Rin/Len Act 2 (actually I don't have Act 2 but I hear it works too). Don't use any keygens/cracks or restart the comp, just install straight from the ISOs.
3. Install the PEACE-OUT release of Luka using that silly D.C. installer. (Note: this will brand your Vocaloid editor with the warez group's logo.)
4. You should now have the modified editor with all the Vocaloids installed, but you won't be able to save, open, or playback files.

5. Open the regedit and go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VOCALOID2\
6. Find the KEYS folders as shown in the pic.
7. Delete all the shit in each KEYS except for "(既定)" and "default". (I don't know if (既定) will be called something different on English windows, but it should be the top item in each KEYS folder).
8. ????
9. PROFIT!!!

This should give you a working editor with all the Vocaloids. You could probably get a non-warez-branded editor by installing using the regular installer that's in the ISO (not the dacapo one that autoruns), but I'm too lazy and I don't mind the branded editor. Also, the order you install stuff probably doesn't really matter if you use custom install to just install the pieces you need, but I'm too lazy to test that out either. If you accidentally delete something other than what you are supposed to in the VOCALOID2 registry, the program will stop working and will give you an error even if you try to reinstall it. If this happens (it happened to me), you can use system restore or some other registry backup to fix the registry, then reinstall the program from scratch. The number of things you need to delete from the registry will depend on what other Vocaloids you have installed and what keygens you have used, but as long as you make sure all the KEYS folders have only those 2 items in them, everything should work fine. I think.

Never mind. Figured it out. To get the editor and everything else in english just remove (i.e. move somewhere else or something) the DLL files with the _japanese suffix.
