I put too much science and history into to keep it from being a slow build -- makes it harder to cut out backstory. Unless I get more experimental with the structure, or such. That's why the transitions seem so abrupt, supposed to be a deliberate effect. I hate cutting out too much backstory, don't want to leave people confused.

Normally, if the breasts are fondled, the breasts will start feeling good along with the sensation that the breasts are being touched. I think you’re trying a bit too hard with the misdirection and inner thought stuff. Try to focus on what the fun of the piece is instead of adding complexity for its own sake. The interaction between Kiki and Shoggy is the draw of the prompt- having it distance from that and be so heavily weighted one-sidedly to Kiki makes it a bit of a chore to pay attention to.
Monstergirls are Sexy, Cute, and Exotic, in that order. They can be other things too as part of their individual charm, but before anything else they should have the emphasis heavily placed on their sexiness, their cuteness, and their exoticness, in that order.

Thanks for the feedback. From my perspective it built up organically, and doesn't feel try hard from my end. But you've some solid points. I thought it appropriate for a guy with two monster maids to be involved with something intricate and dangerous. Just due to the implied abilities of both types. Let's give it a look. Combined, the girls are the equivalent of at least half a platoon of normal humans. They're freakishly heavy on people skills, by their very nature. (Kikis can deduce all kinds of weird personal details merely via observation. "I know that Master likes tomato soup simply by the way he's scratching his thigh." S.Holmes would have an epileptic fit at the very notion). All of the above screams intelligence work to me, but hey that chain of logic might seem rusty to others, eh? The heavy reliance on Kiki as viewpoint character is partially due to my inability to pretend to think like a Shogg. There are a multitude of places that reliably produce better prose about intrigue and politics and whathaveyou- no one is primed for looking into those things here given the aforementioned circumstances. It’s kind of the common trap that was lambasted a few weeks ago around stories focused on the Order- you could make the coolest, most intriguing and publishable story about the Order imaginable, and yet this isn’t the place for it because of its removal from those key traits people are looking for in Monstergirl one shots. People aren’t coming to the country barbeque expecting dishes they can’t pronounce in restaurant portions, they’re coming for the big slabs a fuggen ribs’n’taters.
The second point, in as least a harsh way as possible as it is more a general observation and complaint I’ve noticed: writefags need to stop assuming anyone knows who they are or their history when’s they post anonymously. No one knows who you are and what you are referring to by lamenting your ‘jumping the shark’. What’s more, unless you’ve been at it for a good while and proven your worth, no one particularly cares, either. It’s more than just a ‘damn namefags’ complaint too: that kind of mindset, of ‘people will know and care what I mean when I say I worry I’m jumping the shark’ leads to things like inexplicably adding talons to a Kiki’s hands and never explicitly mentioning that, because you inherently thing people will know your style and that they’ll just buy what you’re putting down and the liberties you’re taking. That’s not really how it works. To be fair though, again, you’re far from the only person who commonly falls into that trap.
Writing for these threads is in the truest sense a charity. You should never expect you’re being followed or that people will assume what you mean when you go your own way with some detail. Again, we’re not coming to Restaurant Gordon Ramsay expecting to parse our the sublime intricacies of what the renowned chef is presenting this night only as a journey for our pallets.

However, I do understand the MGE undead much more now. Basically the way they work is to give them an afterlife that keeps them in the physical world. It is very hard to follow what you are writing. I found it very hard to follow what you were writing in the pastebin as well.

A natural reaction that I had while reading the pastebin was that the author seemed to think they were more clever than what actually came out, and this was a contributing factor to the confusion. I also strongly disagree with and personally dislike Monstergirl writing that tries to ‘be about more than just sex’, because I mainly read these threads to wind down during or after work at a job that requires a lot of mental energy, and am primarily just looking for smutty or at least cute stuff; this is however obviously a personal bias.
