In a transparent attempt to leverage more money out of his franchise, Touhou series creator ZUN attempts a crossover game with aging aerial acrobatics franchise Crimson Skies. The following is a leaked script of the teaser trailer.

Nathan Zachary: (Narrating) I thought I'd seen it all...

Vintage Newscast: An unending night has befallen the land *Station switch* ... riots in the city of Chicago have left... *station switch* It is scientifically unexplainable. The ENTIRE WORLD is bathed in darkness. It is as if the sun... has just disappeared!

Nathan Zachary: Until I got a call from an old friend of mine.

Reimu Hakurei: Nathan? It's me, Reimu... I need to speak with you... I know what's causing the unending night... I did it. I have to speak to you in person.

Betty: Boss, what is it with you and this girl?

Nathan: Oh... you know, she was a shrine maiden I met once Far East... ships that pass in the night... But it's been years... and she sounded desparate.

Reimu: Dr. Yagokoro Eirinstein. Former German medical prodigy... even the Nazis found her experiments too extreme. She turned from medical marvel to madman almost overnight, and nobody knows why

Dr. Eirinstein: As the sun sets tonight... so it sets on the age of mankind...

Nathan: And she's after the secret of immortality? But... if she's not serving the Fuhrer...

Reimu: That's what scares me the most, Nathan.

*Dogfight montage*

Mystia Lorelei: "You may have bested the Firefly squadron... but I'm going to go down in history as the ace who bested the Fortune Hunters!"

Nathan: "Fat chance, rookie."

Crimson Skies / Touhou? They'll both have to get through the original Japanese folklore / WW2 dogfight crossover before they ever meet.

There's only room for one money obsessed, fireball shooting, princess stealing miko in the sky.

And, hell, just make it an unholy mashup of the two. The climax has Reimu taking to the skies in a ridiculous over-the-top dogfight of flying priestesses, fairies, moon-rabbit aces in their moon-fighter planes, nazis who defected to serve Eirin and Kaguya...
