We'll start out with a warm-up. PCB, Stage 2. Normal and Hard open. Standard rules apply this round:

1) Best score wins.
2) No restarting the stage. One try only.
3) Your play has happen right now. No replays or stockpiled screenshots!

I'm giving people a chance to notice the thread and get going, but Stage 2 isn't exactly long, so in the meantime feel free to suggest games/challenges to try. If there aren't any requests I'll just pick whatever.

Sorry! I wanted to watch KnK 5 before I did anything else after work. If you're pressed for time and nobody else cares I could run 20 or 15 minute rounds instead of 30 minute rounds. Or at the very least I could make single-stage challenges shorter while longer challenges (pacifist, Extra, multiple stages, graze, etc) take the full time.

I captured all spells, I guess? And I had a lot of graze. One of Chen's nonspells works OK for grazing, and there's that part at the end of the stage you can milk for a lot of graze pretty easily.

Actually, my first time at this stage on a level above easy... I don't think I did TOO bad. I kinda prefer going into the shootan blind. Makes the game a lot more dynamic and a lot less Guitar Hero.

Still, fuck Touhou Cat and Nuclear Bird Girl up their respective assholes.

Damage done to familiars will also be dealt to the boss or fairy that spawned them, but at a rate of half. It's not a bad idea to shoot them unfocused because it usually gets you more time orbs than grazing focused on Normal.

Nothing but aimed shots and some lasers there. It gets a little harder on Hard and Lunatic, but it's still the easiest of anyone's last spell. Or did you mean her 'last' spell, with all the lasers? That one sucks.

I basically just made the thread because I wanted to play Touhou for a while. I wasn't really thinking about anyone else! If you want to play Touhou, and there isn't a thread, you might as well make one. People will probably show up and play!
