Most recurrent version of S-Elis have Straw Doll (Life Orb) or Good Ring (Choice Band) and the Changeling (U-Turn) for switch damage, the rest is Lightning Cut and Night Step for STAB attacks, St. Elmo's Fire for destroy items or Poisoned Arrow for more coberture, others prefer Twilight Infection over Night Step, more power less accuracy but that depends of you, generally is better Good Ring than Good Belt because Elis is already too fast with Green Mark, you can use too Topaz or Obsidian Hairpin instead Straw Doll or Good Ring for increases the Drak or Electric first hit, a STAB Changeling with Obsidian Hairpin destroy everything with 100 or lower defense super effective.

The only thing that comes to my mind is Counter Bit, that seems to be common on every tanky puppet (ironically, the only puppet that seems to be using Reflect Bit more often is Extra Aya). Power Aya is among dozens different sweepers who have STABs+Earth, and they only pay 1/8 of their HP for making the same mistake instead of 5/8. Extra Aya, on the other hand, is one of the very few puppets that can shut down leads with Raid and hazards/taunt/terrain/status.

Even then, Power Aya is still one of the most common puppets, just not even close to her extra form.

Poison: Puppets lose a fraction of their HP per turn. Can overlap with other status effects. Poison and Steel-Element puppets aren't affected by this, except under certain situations.
Badly Poisoned: The damage the puppet receives per turn increases per turn, similar to how Badly Poisoned worked in Pokemon. Other than get this status effect, a puppet can suffer from it by getting Poisoned while already Poisoned. Doesn't overlap with other status effects. Like Poison, Poison and Steel-Element puppets aren't usually affected by this.
Burn: Like Poison, this status effect also has puppets lose a fraction of their HP. Unlike the Pokemon version, this one doesn't have the puppet's Focused Attack lower. Can overlap with other status effects. Fire-Element puppets aren't usually affected by this.
Badly Burned: Like Badly Poisoned, the amount of HP lost per turn increases steadily. A puppet can also gain this status effect by being Burned twice. Doesn't overlap with other status effects. Fire-Element puppets aren't usually affected by this.
Paralysis: Puppets have their Speed greatly decreased. Unlike the Pokemon version, puppets don't suffer from the possible freeze that can occur per turn. Can overlap with other status effects. Electric-Element puppets aren't usually affected by this.
Shocked: Along with the decreased Speed, excluding certain skills, all opponent skills will hit the puppet without fail. A puppet can also gain this status effect by being Paralyzed twice. Doesn't overlap with other status effects. Electric-Element puppets aren't usually affected by this.
Blinded: Puppets have their Focused Attack greatly decreased. Can overlap with other status effects.
Fear: Puppets have their Spread Attack greatly decreased. Can overlap with other status effects.
Weaken: Similar to Pokemon's Heal Block, puppets lose the ability to heal their HP from skills, excluding a few skills. Can overlap with other status effects.
Greatly Weakened: Along with the inability to heal, the amount of SP (PP in Pokemon) used up for each skill increases by 1, meaning a normally used skill uses 2 SP instead of 1 SP. A puppet can also gain this status effect when Weakened twice. Doesn't overlap with other status effects.
Stop: The equivalent of Pokemon's Sleep, the puppets loses all ability to use skills, excluding a few special ones. Unlike the other status effects, this one can heal normally by waiting a few turns. Doesn't overlap with other status effects. Dream-Element puppets aren't usually affected by this.

Okay guys, I beat Pandemonium and can now access the extra content, but I feel like I might be missing smoething because everywhere I go it's pretty much nothing:
-Barrier of life and death: a couple of trainer battles plus the fight against the lvl 99 puppet that gave the eigth journal. I've read it and it talks about some new place, but no idea where it's suposed to be
-Heaven: a couple of trainer battles and a few items. A character mentioned someone I should be afraid of, but hasn't appeared whatsoever and every path leads to a dead end.
-Yakumo's Residence: a couple of fights and what I guess is the way to fight other users
-Scarlet Devil Mansion: Remilia has asked me to fight her sister in the basement, but there's zero indication on where the basement is and I can't find it
-Others: a few older characters have challenged me to battle again, there's also the ice cave that is still blocked, but I've got nothing that would let me access it

There are a lot of puppets with average speed and a shallow movepool that barely extends beyond their STABs. Even a comparatively great puppet like Power Ran has trouble keeping up with meta picks.

There's also non-Extra Renko, who can't do anything outside of her niche of setting up any terrain or weather, but is outclassed by specialized puppets that focus on one weather or terrain, or even both, which Renko can't even do (the expansion hurt Renko immensely). And Maribel, who is supposed to have buffs in weather and terrain, but puppets that work in specific weather or terrain do much better than her.

No unless you either rebirth her (that you don't get until the postgame) or use the save editor.

Her stats are great, she basically takes nothing from special attacks. It's just that light sucks. It only hits two types effectively (and one of those it takes se damage from), and I have steel types to deal with dark already, and don't feel like nether is any sort of threat. On the other hand, extra has more useful resistances, decent defenses and hp, and I lack a fire type on my team.

But oh well. I'll just have to deal with her I suppose. Feels bad cause Kaguya is my favorite and I really want a reason to bust her out in battles, but my sweepers usually deal with everything.

The fact that she ignores all stat buffs makes her a perfect tank because she can’t be set up on. This is especially good in TPDP where the really hard fights typically involve a strong and fast sweeper try to setup and become unstoppable; Sagume can wall them.
It helps that she easily has access to reliable Heavy Poison. There’s also the move Mysterious Liquid, which deals double damage to poisoned foes. The best electric-type attack for her to carry is Charge Thief which allows her to heal back damage. All you have to watch out for is Earth-type puppets, who hit you for 4x damage.

That ability reverses resistances and weaknesses for both herself and her opponent, it doesn't swap them. So if either puppet was weak to something, it would resist that type while that ability is present. And yeah, it looks like immunities are treated as resistances for the purpose of this ability.

For example, Power Ran (Illusion/Fire) takes 2x from Void under its effect, and Defense Yuuka (Nature/Earth) will receive 4x damage from Elec attacks. And Seija herself will take 1/2 damage from Light and Nether if she has that ability, but Fighting attacks will do neutral damage to her (because Nether's immunity to it is turned into a weakness, but Warped's weakness becomes a resistance).
