The last time I heard from /jp/'s legendary janitor he had to retire from his position because he was suffering from brain cancer or something like that. Did we ever get an update on his health?

For guys who are new to /jp/ I'll tell you the story of a janitor who we affectionately referred to as meido. Despite his failing health, he worked ridiculously hard when he was online. He cared about /jp/ers so much he would delete rule breaking content before the mods got a chance to bring down the ban hammer. Entire pages of rule breaking content would get swept away, hence fan art like this. Is he still alive?

I hope he's still alive.

The first janitor to be referred as meido was AoC, who had brain problems and resigned, but later got them fixed via brain surgery and rejoined the team for a few years. He later left the team for good and now presumably lives a nondescript life somewhere else like most ex-/jp/sies.

That's good to hear. I'm just glad he's still alive. He was a hard working guy. 4chan was not healthy for his brain. I think 5 years is the max time someone should waste their life on 4chan.

That sounds ominous.

I managed to find a particularly cancerous shitposter from the good old days of 2013. He's become much more talented as a content creator but he's also really fat and a tranny now.
I imagine half of the retards who were spamming niggy dot png and so on became trannies or full-on hardcore pedophiles
