sup /jp/. After playing EoSD off and on for several months without putting any real effort into it, I decided to practice a bit over the last week and finally managed a 1cc game on normal with ReimuA (yes, i know i'm bad). Couple questions for all you vet touhou players out there. Where should i head next? Just move onto higher difficulities, or try out other games? Also, what kind of controllers do ya all use to play? I've tried on keyboard, but right now I'm using a wireless xbox 360 controller and wireless adapter I borrowed from a friend. It doesnt work badly, although i wish I could use the d-pad instead of the anologue stick.

Any tips would be appreciated.

If you want to use a controller then the D-pad of a playstation controller is much better. The d-pad of the xbox 360 feels cheap and an analog stick is not optimal since Touhou is not an analog game (it is all on or all off in each direction).

The PSP D-pad works fine for me.

Of course, it is exactly like the PS d-pad.

Seriously, a plain old keyboard is best.

Try the other games, they're all good.

I happen to feel the psp d-pad more comfortable than regular the ps controller. But it gets me through lunatic so I don't really care if there are better ones

OP here. If I end up going this route, is there any particular adapters I should be looking for? Or just something to convert PS2 -> USB?

As for using the keyboard, I dunno - it just seemed to feel better using a controller I suppose. That and i didnt like having to use the shift key for focus - right now i have it bound to the right shoulder bumper on the xbox controller.

oh no you didn't
90% of Touhou player suck at it, the fact that you get to see every single one of them moan about sucking doesn't mean there aren't good ones.
