She's okay as a character, but I like every other TM heroine more. I had to try really hard to not make pro-Arcueid choices through Ciel's route.

Um, maybe it was just a bad first impression? When you see her the first time, it's at the school, and her outfit is pretty atrocious.

Otherwise, she's okay, but she is definitely my least favorite.

The outfits never bothered me. It's a school uniform, give the girl a break. The nighttime outfits, too. What did you expect from the church, a miniskirt and clear heels?

Arc fights other heroines too, for the exact same reason of being possessive and overprotective. And she threatens to kill you, not because she's on a mission, but just because you're trying to break up the fight. What gives?

I was in the mood for a ditz the first time I started up Tsukihime, and Arc was clearly supposed to be that, but she got drowned in her own obligation to fill in the audience, which made half of her conversations with Shiki A Brief History of Vampires, and the other half of it was Shiki ruining the mood and being a dumb cunt.

She probably should be better, but going only by what's in Tsukihime, Arc has got to be my least favorite heroine.

I cannot blame Shiki's faults on any of the other heroines. I do hold that Ciel's route is better than Arcueid's, but as far as the characters are concerned I like Arcueid a lot more than Ciel. I like Akiha the most though.

Also, it was my first venture into the Nasuverse and I liked the explanations Arc gave, so the explanations didn't really bug me all that much.

When I was doing Akiha's route, I chose to behead Ciel.

Don't get me wrong. I did Ciel's route first and she's my favorite heroine, I just thought that was the thing I was gonna have to do. Like in HF. I dunno.

Anyway, I remembered how Taiga dojo worked, and Taiga doesn't show up when you get the bad end during her kidnapping, because she was kidnapped and all.

I am eating...I am eating...curry. Om nom nom, fresh, straight from the cook. It's piping hot and the steam from it burns my eyes a little, the smell is strong, and the flavor intense. I can't take it anymore, I want more of this spicy deliciousness. I find the place it's coming from, its a hole, and I notice Ciel is looking the other way. The hole isn't big enough for me to use the spoon, but around it is soft tissue. I pull it open and decide to just use my tongue to scoop out the curry. I notice another area near the curry hole, dripping with something, so I taste it. The flavor is that of salty milk and coins, I quickly return to the curry to remove the taste. While eating the curry, I hear a gurgling noise...suddenly a hot gust of air billows out of the hole and the curry begins flowing at an amazing pace. The smell, the taste, the heat, it all comes pouring out of the hole with such force...soon it's all over my face and the floor, I'm slathered in it, enjoying it, loving it. I begin lapping it off the floor. My hands are covered in it, i begin rubbing it into myself. Sometimes, I prefer the bad ends. There's one in Akiha's route where you kill Ciel, and Shiki becomes what he wants most, an insane killer.
It's a valid choice for him.

This is the first VN I've played, and I'm really impressed. Occasionally, it reads like Sartre with sex scenes.
